ganache (6089) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 6, 2012
Bottle by 06.06.12. Lots of hay in the nose, pours clear golden with a soapy white head. Taste is surprisingly bitter, medium body is crisp with a light hint of metal, otherwise clean. Sparkles, has decent hop character and water that allows those hops to kick up.

3fourths (9367) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Bottle. Lightly hazed straw colored body with a patchy white head. Thankfully this is fresh enough that there’s no trace of ultraviolet light spoilage in the green bottle. The aroma is mild overall with some powdered yeast and calcium on top of quiet noble hops and saltine cracker pilsner malt, with only a smidgen of cooked corn kernel. Light body, lightly sweet, simple and quiet overall but lacks flaws. Somewhat oily green hop coating in the finish, but one swig it seems like hop oils and the next it seems like saccharine. Medium carbonation doesn’t bring to life the hop aroma and flavor very well. Still it’s serviceable as a German pilsner, which is more than you can say about most on the market in Colorado right now.

Clean, refreshing, w/ full thick body surprisingly. Best organic beer Ive had yet. Slight funk aftertaste though..

Nothing special here but nothing wrong either. Has a a straw yellow pour w/ a good white head that leaves a little lacing. The aroma is straight skunk but in a decent way. The taste is actually clean & crisp & not all that bad for a pilsner. Easy drinking & rather nice on this summer evening!

chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 15, 2015
11.2 oz bottle served in wide mouth glass (from notes) A- Golden yellow; slightly darker than many pilsners. Ample white head with good retention. S- Strong aroma for style. A lot of pilsner malt with grassy and earthy notes, and some hop presence. T- An amplified pilsner with somewhat stronger flavor than average. Clean finish. M- The mouthfeel is light with a good amount of carbonation. D- The drinkability is good for a pilsner, but I definitely prefer a good Czech pils.

Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours a bit hazy with some micro sediment floatingin the body surface, body colour is bright golden, carbonarion visually is gentle, head is initially small, frothy, slowly decreases to minimal, slightly off - white, rather no lacing.
Aroma: Graphite, some gentle accidity, mineral nose, chalkyness, maltyness is hidden somewhere at the background and mainly dominated by herbal hoppyness, a bit hars but not as aromatic as in ’Hacker - Pschorr Pilsener’. A bit milky with some interesting nutty - woody hints, earthy, soily hops.
Flavour: Earthy hoppy nose, soil comes at front, than comes nicely pronounced bitterness on palate with still existant aromatic nose and decent grainy aftertaste, very well balanced between all the ingredients. A traditional, pure Classic German Pilsener being brewer according to the unchanged, old, traditional receipe. Some notes of cardboard and paper, dustyness and soilyness, saltyness dur to hops and carbon dioxide, barley grains. Sharp bitterness strenghting itself coming towards finish. Finish duration is very long, citruses, lemon, grapefruit.
Palate: Body is light, texture is very dry with sharp hoppy bitterness, finish feel is chalky, grainy, dusty, dry.

Süßer und hopfiger Geruch. Aromatisch-süßer Start, dessen Niveau sich durchzieht bis in den Ausklang. Hier dann ein wenig herber. Untypisches und eher süßes Pils. Trotzdem ganz nett, irgendwie.Test vom 11.1.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche
