Das kräftig braune Hefeweizenbier, obergärig und traditionell eingebraut. Eine vollmundige Erfrischung mit leichter Karamellnote - in sommerlicher Biergartenatmosphäre besonders beliebt.

they don’t promise too much on the label: it really has a wonderful aroma of caramel mixed with banana and melona. dark brown appearance with big white head. nice taste with a full "woody" body and long finish. highly recommended.

A good, but not particularly outstanding dark Hefeweizen. Not bad at all, don't get me wrong, just not too special.

Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into weizen glass Appearance: Hazy brown colour, with rich but short-lived head. Aroma: Yeast, wheat, banana Palate: Light body, light to medium carbonation; spiky/sharply/whittle. Taste: Yeast, wheat, sour. Overall impression: Quite good and enjoyable, drinkable..but nothing special.

Aroma: roasted dark malts and banana. Appearance: hazy brown-amber color and creamy head. Taste: banana cake, caramel, wheat, malty, dry. Palate: low body and high carbonation. Overall: really nice dunkelweizen, nice banana cake notes.

Very dark brown almost black with medium brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate and baked banana, some clean yeasty stuff as well. Taste is rather much yeasty sourness, chocolate sweetness and normal tartness. Medium finish of more chocolate. However thin body and spiky sourness on the tongue. Low carbonation, the large amount of sourness doesn’t go well with the chocolate character.

September 2016 - 500ml bottle in Berlin as ’Neumarkter Lammsbräu Schwarze Dunkles Hefeweizen’, 5.1%, BB March 2017. Dark brown, an orange hue - otherwise opaque, foamy dense tan head, full lacing. Aroma is light banana, cardboard, apple, some rhubarb. Body is smooth, rounded, soft carbonation. Taste has some light demerara, banana, papery, more apple. Has the character you’d expect but is quite watery and basic for style. (3.0)

Aus der Flasche getrunken (aus dem Biomarkt). Schönes Dunkelbraun im Glas. Mild und ohne jegliche Hefigkeit.

0.5l bottle. Dark brown color with white head. Aroma is banana, cloves and wheat. Taste is banana with sweet character. Overall it’s very nice beer.

Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, bubblegum and banana. Pours opaque dark brown liquid with a soapy, thick white head. Sweet taste, flavour notes of wheat, dark malt, dark fruits and banana. Medium-full body with a silky texture, fizzy carbonation and a nice wheat finish. Very drinkable, I very much like the wheat flavour that it has but nonetheless it’s a bit watery and bland.

Bottle. Rich and malty sweet, with the necessary banana and yeast. A bit stale, could be crispier. Still a Dunkelweizen that I really enjoyed.
