UPDATED: MAY 17, 2012 Bottle 0,5l. Pours pale golden, cloudy yeasty with white frothy Hefe head. Aromas banana, plums, wheat, dough.. Palate medium bodied, little watery, fizzy. Carbonation lively, slick and mouthful. Taste is tart, fruity, astrigent, watery. Aftertaste mild, little dry and sweetish from malts and some paper. Finish yeasty with crispy fruity taste. Overall average and drinkable Hefeweizen.

500 ml bottle picked up in Germany. Is a cloudy orange colour with a big fluffy white head. Aroma is Cirtus, bananas, dust, and lots of spices. Taste is fruity yet dry, Has some fantastic flavors in there. Palate is mellow and smooth. A top Weisse!!!

ganache (5896) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 26, 2011
Bottle. Nose is wheaty with a nice low-key mix of esters and phenols, has a yeasty component that’s not quite reaching pretzel. Cloudy golden body with a large and lacing, rocky white head. Taste has very low sweetness in with the bubblegum, a dash of mineral, low bitterness, and cracker in the aftertaste. Medium, slightly-slimy body. Spritzy and very clean, doesn’t go overboard on the citrus and maintains its wheaten identity. Underrated, methinks.

500 ml bottle. From mein-biershop.de.
Hazy yellow orange colour with big fluffy white head. Lively. Banana, bubblegum, citrus, wheat and green apple in aroma. Toffee, butterscotch, wheat, banana and mild sourness in flavour. Very good both aroma and flavour. Delicious and enjoyable. So organic beer can be very good.

Test vom 8.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 23, 2011
500ml bottle (BioMarket Kaubamaja, Tallinn)
6 Slightly dusty aroma, some of the usual bananaey esters, but not so pronounced.
4 Poured all the yeast in, so it was a turbid straw colour, good head initially, settles to a ring.
6 Yeasty and earthy body. Full, but not as upliftingly estery as the best hefes. Still very tasty though.
4 Such a full smooth palate, fairly sweet and almost creamy. Some decent carbonation initially, but that decreases over time obviously. Fnish is lovely and hoppy, a realy bitter bite. Almost metallic.
13 Good stuff, none of the grunginess you sometimes get with eco beers.

(Bottled) Had better Hefs , had worse Hefes . nose suggests fat banana esters , cloves and bread. Tangy palate ,rich and with everting i mentioned in the aroma apparent in flava profolio.

Bottle. Cloudy dark yellow. Big head. Mellow citric aroma. Taste is wheat-centered. Clean and classic taste. Good but a bit too much "by the book".
