Piwo bursztynowe srednia piana. Zapach piernikowy i goździkowy. Smak wyraźnie odczuwałem goździki, cynamon i nawet trochę lukrecji. Przyjemne slodowe ale nie przytlaczajace slodkoscia ze względu na liczne swiateczne i zimowe wrazenia do tego na wodzie mineralnej i składniki z kontrolowanych upraw ekologicznych.

Pour is a dark cloudy brown with a large white head. Aroma is a decent typical marzen dark bread. Flavor is kinda watery but after the swallow you get a nice hit of the malt. Finish is again a bit watery but those dry fresh bread malts kind of stay with you for awhile. Decent but not great and maybe a bit old. My bottle looks nothing like the one in the picture and it says 5.1% abv.

A very bready marzen pouring a murky maize with a large but quickly receding head. A small ring of foam leaves a healthy lacing behind. Balanced and clean with a smooth mellow mouthfeel, it would be very easy to mistakenly ( yeah right!) overindulge with Lammsbrau’s winter festbier.

Bottle from bio markt. Pours clear, amber with minimal head. Malty last with light sweetness. Nutty aftertaste that is too short. Overall a good beer.

Echt fein.

Bottle from bio supermarket in Forchheim. The beer has got a deep amber colour with steady low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and barley. Taste of light malt, barley, bread, mild herbs, caramel and leaves. Hints of nuts and spices. Easy drinkable and good, just a solid beer.

50cl bottle, Biomarkt, bb03/2015. This "Winterfestbier", labeled & marketed as a ’90s Xmas calendar, soon proves to be a basic Märzen: pours a dull watery copper, with a diluted caramel nose and - Schluss (flat & lemonade-like indeed, Erzengel). Taste has homeopathic doses of pleasant enough toasted caramalts with a dry grain-husky edge, subtle honey caramels on a palate made for gulping down: you can almost taste the brewer, clad in his wife’s moonboots, standing on the brakes of this recipe’s winter potential. More mixed metaphor: Typical inoffensive Lammbräu, OK Märzen, with (green) gloves on.

Bottle. Golden in color. Medium head. Aroma was grains, slight fruity smell. Taste is sweet up front, grains and toast at the finish.
