DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - AUG 22, 2014
Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks eyes_wide_shut. Clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of grains, a bit of hay and some grassy hops. Flavor has mild sweetish graininess and some grassy bitterness. Rather light-bodied. Easy-drinking.

Bona cervesa, es bastant equilibrada i gustosa.

(backlog Stuttgart -> 2011) 33cl bottles on several occasions when this was the only non Dinkelacker/Hofbräu option - 0711 Dark Ages, au revoir. Pours a very light straw yellow, repeated in aroma, accompanied with a stingy helping of natural grassy hops. Overall clean to the point of being too watery and like many of its Biomarkt sister products, more noble in "EdelPils" intent than in delivery.

Theydon_Bois (19513) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2014
Bottle (from Rewe Freising), on the train from Regensburg to Schwanndorf, Bamberg post Xmas jolly day 1 - 24/01/14. Pale golden blonde with a moderate white covering. Nose is grassy, light citrus, pale malt, cereals. Taste comprises light citrus, orange pith, toast, grass, hint of apricot. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy close. Ok pils, nothing to return to though.

Geruch herb, grasig, leicht getreidig. Geschmack startet bitter hopfig, grasig.

Bamberg Bash, Day 1. Train bottle swig. Bright clear paleish gold beer, good bubbly white head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Mildly citric floralness dominates. Touch of spice. Finishes dry, airy and crispy. What’s not to like?
