A slightly hazy orange beer with a fine head. The aroma is very hoppy and sweet too - a simple aroma. The flavor starts out with hop notes, then comes the malt with a strong straw presence and some caramel - a nice flavor for a pilsener.

joergen (29790) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 10, 2010
Bottle at Papsø. Clear yellow coloured with a small white head. Malty aroma of grain, citrus and butter. Malty flavour of grain, citrus, butter and hops. Hoppy finish.

Bamberg Bash, Day 1. Train bottle swig. Bright clear paleish gold beer, good bubbly white head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Mildly citric floralness dominates. Touch of spice. Finishes dry, airy and crispy. What’s not to like?

Bottled (rom beerangel.de). Pale golden colour, mediumsized big head. Aroma is skunked hops, some rubbergloves and mild grainyness. Flavour is metal, hops, grains, some grass and mild ruityness. Rather unbalanced and not very pleasant. No BBE found on this ottle, but feels like something went wrong here.

omhper (26040) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 21, 2006
[Bottled] Pale yellow. Grassy bready nose. Very dry with light-medium body. Soft and crisp, grassy and hoppy with rather bitter fiish. It certianly falls within the main track of German pilseners, but does not really excel. Very worthwile drinking though.

Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 10, 2010
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Malty nose with a little diacetyl. Medium body, sweet and malty again with a buttery whiff. Duscreetly bitter finish. 100410

(Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden, slightly cloudy with a huge and stable head. Fresh and slightly sharp pilsener with an exquisite hop aroma that lasts for a long time. A delicate organic brew. 090402

Test vom 10.1.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,9,6,6,7 - 7,10
