Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, - DEC 26, 2012
0.5 l bottle at Timo A’s. Dark reddish brown color. Roasty coffeish aroma with some dark fruits . Softly roasty color with licorice, dark chocolate and some dark fruits. Medium body, fairly high sparkling carbonation. Average schwarzbier.

Beerhunter111 (23291) - Beerland, GERMANY - DEC 2, 2015
33cl bottle. Pours very dark brown colour with a mid-sized good lasting beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, brown sugar, toffee. Taste of roasted malt, sweet caramel, brown sugar, not bad!

HumalaJumala (19) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUN 9, 2015
Roasty aromas, some rye bread and soy sauce. Taste is watery, sweet, roasty and flat. Reminds me of cardboard at times. You can tell this was cheaply made using roast malt extract. Meh.

WillemsUrenkel (2089) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - MAY 4, 2015
0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Black in the glass, small beige head. Malt and low chocolate on the nose. Taste is more smooth, light toasted malt, little bit dark fruits, little bit hop, licoruce, some choco hints. But no real big taste.

Erzengel (9783) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - APR 5, 2015
*Old rating. Best before 27.01.10. Nettes, weiches und röstig-herbes Schwarzbier. Trocken, nicht ganz zu tief, sehr süffig. Lecker.

culchiem (4256) - Berlin, GERMANY - AUG 3, 2013
Draught at BBF2013. Dark brown with a medium head, ok lacing. Aroma is light toasted malt. Flavour is creamy burnt malt, dry roast finish.

Mariusz (12304) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JUN 30, 2012
Pours black with a foamy tan head. Malt, hop, and roasted grain aromas with a hint of chocolate and coffee.

kappldav123 (6163) - GERMANY - JAN 8, 2012
Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, deep black, nice head. Starts mild-malty, modest roasty, not too dry. Modest woody-bitter background, not too sweet. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 25, 2011
It’s black with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma is mild with notes of roasted malt and vegetables. The mouth-feel is surprisingly full and the flavour is light to moderately sweet with notes of roasted malt, light licorice and dark syrup, and the finish is dry.

Koelschtrinker (22090) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 10, 2011
Mild, fast wässrig malziger Antrunk. Auch im Mittelteil sehr mild, wenig malzig, hopfig-herber Abgang. Schwaches Schwarzbier. Test vom 14.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 8,6,8,7,-,7 - 7,10
