Overpriced Beer Tasting 2014. Copper beer, small head. Nose is really malty, sweet, some vague fruityness. Flavor is caramel, lots of sweetness, malty notes, metal notes. Pretty sticky stuff, messy too. martjoobolut (5123) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 31, 2014
0,75L bottle at the overpriced beer tasting, thanks for sharing guys! Pours amber with off-white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is very sweet, malt, caramel. Flavor follows the nose. Finish is malty sweet. Overall: nice brew. Marduk (8408) - Reval, ESTONIA - DEC 29, 2014

200€ worth of beer. Thank you for fetching this monster. Malty, with intriguing yeast, decent carbonation extremely overrated and overpriced brew. Impossible to find amazement. Not good extra cold or warm. Just a really dull brew. You will never finish a bottle on your own.
750ml bottle (the 200e of overpriced shit session)

Sweet rye malty aroma. Crazy sweet rye malts taste, some mammi. Sticky and stodgy Malty mess. Overpriced vote: 6/6
It needed a short fight to get the silly plastic stop from the bottle. Pale amber color, chunks of yeast. Oak, dust and dried apricot in the aroma. Full bodied. Thick and sweet fluid. Malty flavor with toffee, dried apricot, cream sherry, oak and grassy hops. jaghana (6284) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - NOV 13, 2012
Rating #2500, bottle 75cl #2847.
A cloudy copper amber beer with medium creamy head. Nose is intense on barley sugar, apricot and peach liquor, alcohol notes. Aroma is very sweet, deep and liquorous, barley sugar touch, very fruity on apple and apricot, bit extremely sweet, burnt cherries touch, wood notes ? (has this being kept in wood kettle). Finish is again very sweet and apricot like, hops is just lightly peppery . Anyway less complex than expected. Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - OCT 23, 2012
0.75 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Hazy amber color. Very sweet and thick aroma with pale bread, strawberry jam, raisins, caramel, toffee and ginger. Sweet syrupy taste with caramel, strawberry jam, raisins, toffee and clove. Too syrypy, very slow to drink even in small quantities. stevoj (5592) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Belgian style from a German brauerei? This bottle was purchased as a special offering form my local Edeka market, in a 750ml bottle with plastic resealable cork, and numbered for a limited edition. This bottle was listed as Nr. 2608, not sure of the total run (10,000?). Definitely different from anything I’ve tasted from a German brewery, but true to the Belgian/French Cru style. According to the label, they claim to use Trappist yeast (in english, no less?). Initial taste is sour, but warms to the taste buds after sitting and sipping. The high alcohol content isn’t apparent at first, but slowly makes itself apparent. Pours a very murky copper, reminiscent of apple cider, short head and lightly carbonated. If you like this style, here is a fine example from a German brewer.

Hefig-alkoholischer, zudem süßer Beginn. Zuckrig, zu jung wirkend, später runder, die Hefigkeit bringt sich dann besser ein. Noch OK aber zu zuckrig. 6/8/7/7/7/8
