Gooner (136) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 23, 2002
One of the finer lagers in Canada. This is a hop lover's dream. You can also taste the barley(I mean REALLY taste it!). Aroma of french baguette bread. I think this is way better than the Creemore and Walkerville lagers(...and I'm from Windsor, right next door). Really impressed with the Neustadt Brewery product. You should take a trip to Neustadt, Ontario to check out the brewery. A one-of-a-kind experience. Hurray for the Stimpson family!!!(Neustadt Brewery proprietors)

Bov (13456) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 24, 2001
nice orange colour, fine head, nutty and fruity aroma, too much carbonation, sweet, long nutty finish

2.4
Oakes (19568) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 22, 2001
Moderately drinkable premium lager. Surpassed, however, by Walkerville, Niagara Spray and Creemore.

3.4

UPDATED: APR 2, 2006 Rerate. A bright golden colour with a nice white foamy head. The nose is furity with a firm hint of sprucey hops. The body is much more crisp and refined than I had previously remembered. A good bitter body backed up by a solid maltiness. A very nice Ontario lager, quite a few steps above the rest - rivals Creemore now that it’s brewed by Molson.
