Moderately drinkable premium lager. Surpassed, however, by Walkerville, Niagara Spray and Creemore. Lubiere (14341) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 4, 2006
Hazed golden beer with an extra thick cremy dirty white head. Aroma of spent yeast and peppery celery, again like a missed homebrew. In mouth, a beer with crisp malt, and the rather herbal peppery hops, with yeasty overtones which receede quickly. Again, an infected beer (April 2006). Bov (13442) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 24, 2001
nice orange colour, fine head, nutty and fruity aroma, too much carbonation, sweet, long nutty finish Sammy (13121) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 22, 2005
If there was a smell, it was killed off by C’est What cleaning fluid. No taste or appearance either. Also little carbonation. jercraigs (11166) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 8, 2003
Pale yellow with no head. Flowery hop aroma with slight fruity notes. Long lasting aftertaste is interesting.

Can, shared with Rockley in an Ontario lager taste-off. Nice looking amber hued gold, lasting white head. Nicely toasted husky grains, dry slightly bitter finish. KyotoLefty (10928) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 29, 2008
Light amber color, very fizzy, medium head. Sweet, caramel aroma, similar to their Scottish PA, with toffee, cherries, butterscotch. Buttery, caramel flavor. Sweet but not too much so. Slightly creamy, with a bit of hops. Finish dries out a bit, with more hops and even a touch of citrus in over the malt. Light to medium body, slightly high carbonation. An interesting lager, similar to a Vienna, with a malt signature like their PA. It is sweet and full-flavored but very well balanced. Not fabulous, but good drinking and interesting.

Golden pour with a fast fading head. The aroma is quite malty. Clean lagered aroma and a bit of sweetness. Fairly hoppy as well, although it is there more as bitterness rather than as aroma additions. It’s pretty inoffensive and almost pleasant. mabel (10011) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2009
[2299-20090703] 500mL can. Flower yeast and wet drywall mix aroma with a weird fruit. Clear, light brown orange body with a quick bubbly white head. Toasty yeast fruit flavour has some odd corn oil. Medium body. Fair, has an odd corn characteristic. blankboy (7921) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2007
Draught at TFOB 2007. Pours a clear orange with a small diminishing white head. Aroma’s mild and fruity with caramel malt and a little bit of cardboard. Flavour of caramel malt, very light hops, grain and a decent light bitter finish. Slightly watery mouthfeel. Pretty simple but it’s a decent Lager as far as Canadian Lagers go.
