On tap at Only Cafe. Bought for me by Leigh at the most recent Whiskey Club meeting. I’d usually appreciate a beer from Leigh but this was clearly a dick move on his part. Tastes like bubbly lager with a few spoons of tart raspberry jam stirred in. It may serve as great Sunday morning beer but it has no place at a meeting of minds at Whiskey Club. Poured remainder of my pint into Leigh’s glass & began plotting my revenge. It will be sweet.

Raspberry is noticeable without being overpowering. Well balanced fruit beer. Mild sourness compliments the light body. Minimal bitterness.

Draft - Soured malts and light grape. Cloudy pale yellow with almost no head. Dust light citrus and some grain with only a touch of berry fruit. Finish is dry. Lots of potential, but just not enough fruit or tartness.

Scent of rasberry, malt, blackberry, and lemon. Hazy gold colour. Flavour or raspberry, hops, and basil. Light body with mild carbonation. Refreshing to find a fruit beer that’s not too sweet.

Pours a light pinkish tone. Very light aromas, lacing and finish. At first has a great taste however it doesn’t last long. Very weak flavouring almost synthetic in a way. Nice try

Poured from can. Unique aroma. A roasty malt, but had some fruit. Taste like most from brewery, but I was not a fan of the sour taste. I love the uniqueness, but I was not a fan of the taste.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2013 2013/07/17 - Pours a hazy, pale orange-pink colour with a small, white head. Aroma is hay, grass, sweet malts, apple and berries. Taste follows nose with a grassy, sour berry aftertaste. Mouthfeel is thin with low carbonation and a drying finish. Fruit flavored lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Imbibe. I had initially thought that this was actually supposed to be a beer with saurkraut infused into it, but reading the description now makes things a hell of a lot more clear to me. I had wondered where the hell the saurkraut was, and why the beer was sort of fruity. It’s like they took a decent light lager and decided it was too boring so they added something bizarre to it to make it more interesting. It has this weird vaseline-handcream feel and flavour to it that was very off-putting. I had to have to pints of the next beer I tried in order to get this bizarre flavour out of my mouth. It wasn’t unpleasant but I really wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, ever.

It’s been a while since I had something this out of wacky. I guess I’ve been spoiled recently. Pours hazy piss yellow with a few white bubbles. Aroma of tin can and raspberry with some serious rust. Tastes sour and astringent without any good balance. Tall can at Victory Cafe.

This ale poured a slightly cloudy, light amber colour with a big, bright white, foamy head. Very light lacing. To the nose there are scents of club soda, fruit juice, salt, candy and baking soda. First sip was very thin with strong fruit juice flavours along with PEZ candy and club soda. Finish is sour nd lightly bitter with the sweet andy flavours lingering.
