massingasetta (738) - München, GERMANY - JUN 18, 2017
I think that cherry beer should be left to Belgians. This beer is too bitter and sweet all in one. A beer I almost fed to my sink.

Kauge (1931) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 17, 2017
Bottle. BB 18.04.2018. Purplish red, pinkish head. Black cherries, some faint tartness. Syrupy sweet. Did they forget to add beer? Can’t even finish the first 10 ml I poured out...

dunklermessias (181) - Lüneburg, GERMANY - JUN 4, 2017
On tap at 2. Celler Bierfest. Comes with a clear, dark read color and a small, light red head. Aroma of cherries, yeast and malt. Taste of sweet cherries, some red berries, sweet and long lasting s´cherry finish.

mcberko (17339) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 4, 2017
500mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out notes of dark berries, a little lager yeast, and some bready malt. Flavour brings out lots of sweet cherries and immense cloying sugars. Not too cheap, but certainly not elegant. Very syrupy and sweet. Nothing complex, but it’s drinkable.

Tasting at the 4th most powerful rater of 2016 place
Dark ruby color. The aroma is not fake, it actually has some aroma of caramelized cherries, some bread. Moderately sweet, mild bread flavor, some cherry. Not a very interesting beer, but it’s not artificial at least.

Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 4, 2017
Nice reddish-amber. This is very sweet, cough syrup. Not sure where the beer character is - maybe in the body - but it’s just cough syrup cherry taste and nothing else to talk about.

Ferris (15020) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 4, 2017
Bottle - Sweet cherry and grains. Clear ruby red with a decent white head. Sweet cherry and grains with a long cherry finish.

sharkydodson (1557) - St. Petersburg, RUSSIA - NOV 4, 2016
the aroma is simply fruity with shades of cherry, lollipop, bubblegum and some other berries... the taste of cherry, candy, bubblegum and berry juice... sweet and, a little bit, sour aftertaste...

2.7
bartlebier (3946) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2016
50cl bb08/2016 as Werderaner Kirsch-Bier, REWE Berlin. - Adds some Bock caramels and barley to a basic, natural drained cherry juice straight from the bowl. Misses the added lire of cherry stones, zest or tartness. Underlying Bockbier diluted into oblivion save some barley caramels, cherry juice over Kellogg’s Smacks. Decent when served cold and still better than many an artificial E-studded Floris - half the bottle served very well in a spicy sweet chili sauce reduction to go with grilled lamb chops. - Neuzeller keeps making questionable cases for breaches of the RHG.

batupata (36) - FINLAND - MAY 21, 2016
Deep red coloured beer with a moderately large head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is pretty boring, some cherries. Taste is very sweet, no sourness at all. Lots of cherries. Otherwise fine but the cherry could be more meshed in with the beer, they now feel like two separate ingredients. The finish is slightly bitter and lasts a while. In my opinion could be more sour and stronger. Probably won’t buy again.
