Duft av ryk, vanilje, frukter og litt honning. Dyp sort farge. Dekkende brunt skum, noe heng langs kant. God litt fruktig smak med en anelse vanilje og mango.

500 ml bottle, clear dark brown color with thin toffee head. first taste are roast malt medium bitter chocolate and caramel notes. taste is medium bitter with espresso coffee and little sweetness from caramel. this one is a bit different baltic porter from eastern europe porters because the most aroma is light bitter roast malts with coffee and chocolate notes, no bread or other ingredients. tasty porter

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2014 0,5L bottle, BB 14.01.15. Pours very dark brown with big tan head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is dark chocolate, roast, creamy, and sweet. Taste is sweet, mild bitter, roast, alcohol, and licorice. Overall: drinkable. Alcohol is slightly too noticeable and I would prefer more body.

Bottle. Dark brown body, small beige head. Aroma has soft roast with sweet molasses and honey. Smooth. Medium thick mouthfeel (as opposed to the heavier mouthfeel of some local Baltic Porters). Taste has sweet dark malts with toffee and cola. Good balance: I like this sweetness and prefer it to the more extreme "vinous burnt sugar" tastes that are found in some other Baltic Porters. Tasty and easily sessionable. Quite cheap too.

[From trade with McTapps] Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, licorice, chocolate and floral and hint of alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a slightly warm, chocolate and caramel finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Pours stark black with a 5cm dense, frothy beige head. Toasty malt aroma with that German character... reminds me of wheat malt. Flavor is unfortunately a little sweet so not inline with a Baltic as claimed. At least the finish is more toasty than sweet, but still sweet. At any rate its smooth and drinkable at least the first 25 cl.

Bottle. Pours clear dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of roast and malt, with touches of caramel and metal. Roasty and malty flavour, with sweetish caramel notes and touches of coffee. High carbonation, perhaps too high for a beer in this style. Mildly salty finish, with touches of liquorice. Not bad.
