For marginally more than the cost of a Bud Light you can try this instead at the Yum! Center. Why youd go for something with less flavor is beyond me. If this doesnt strike your fancy there are also about a half dozen other local beers to try instead. Personally I was happy to revisit New Albanian after a few years.
Aroma / Appearance - The golden semitransparent body glows with a sunny heart. The crisp white head decorates the top like a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Lemon zest and custard dominate the fresh hoppy profile.
Flavor / Palate - Leon zest, custard, and soothing hops nibble at the palate. The refreshing texture is perfect for watching sports - it would be easy to down a couple without wearing down the palate too much. For the price this is a steal. If it happens to be on draft elsewhere I recommend giving it a shot as a way to warm up the senses for NABCs other offerings.
on tap @ New Albanian / New Albany IN --- Hazy dark amber color, thin off-white head cover, lots of lace strings. Taste is sweet malt that gives way to carbonation and clean hops. But,...the caramel doesn’t bow out for long, returning as a companion in the finish. Overall, a really solid light IPA. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - MAY 8, 2015
Draft. Caramel malt and sweet orange hops aroma. Clear copper with a large ivory head. Caramel malt and sweet orange hops flavor. Medium body, soft carbination. Braudog (6763) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - DEC 3, 2014
Draft at the brewery. Good visuals and initial impressions. But at first swallow, I found this extremely vegetal ... almost green beany. OK, but clearly not great. (#5878, 12/3/2014) bubblehouse (1541) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - AUG 1, 2014
Good. Hoppy and smooth with a pleasant aroma. A very nice offering at the flea. Would drink again.

Clear copper with a small, off-white head.
Very sweet, nectary orange aroma...leafy hops.
Taste is sweet orange malt...nice earthy/grassy bitter.
Almost makes you think it’s a mild-mannered DIPA.
Very tasty. theisti (4138) - Kansas, USA - APR 25, 2014
Nonic pint draft at the Bank Street brewery in New Albany, Indiana. The pour is a lightly hazed golden copper with a smallish white head. The aroma is leaf, tea, general bitterness and a gypsum mineral in the back. The taste is the leaf, tea and mineral of the nose. The mineral shows as earthy and flinty. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a bone dry mineral chalky finish. Super leafy, kinda weird. shrubber85 (11460) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - APR 24, 2014
Bottle. Clementine orange malt and lightly earthy/grassy citrus peel aroma. Amber with large head (almost like a nitro head). Earthy/lightly smoky orange malt and moderately bitter lemon peel/pine flavor. Very unique - really like this beer. b3shine (8939) - Indiana, USA - APR 20, 2014
Draft to taster at The Tap in Bloomington. Looks solid; a transparent light copperish orange with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of citrus hops and pale malt with a touch of grain. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable.
