Sample at Twenty Tap in Indianapolis. Pours a clear amber-brown color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes rapidly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Notes of hops and caramel malt in the nose. Light body with flavors of sweet malt and caramel, hops and a touch of fruit. The finish is malty with a caramel and mild hops aftertaste. Decent overall. shrubber85 (11706) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 26, 2011
Tap. Sweet orange, barley malt and grapefruit peel aroma. Amber color with small head. Sweet orange toffee malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Nice sweet malt and hops mixture. madvike (3305) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 20, 2011
On cask at GTMW - Pours amber with a thin white head. Malty, with a light floral hop note. Taste is light lemon fruitiness with a malty nuttiness. Nice finish--cuts off abruptly and doesn’t linger much. Real refreshing. Smooth and well-carbonated. Very nice--I need to try more from this brewer! jcr (2784) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JUL 3, 2011
Draft. Amber body with a frothy, off-white head. Pleasant aroma of caramel, resin, candy. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture and fizzy carbonation. The aroma is better than the flavor. Raw grain taste. Grassy hops. A bit unclean, but not off-putting. wnoble (1251) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - APR 28, 2011
Pours amber/light red with zero head because of the server. Nose is lightly caramelly with Semi-heavy grassy and herbal hop character with notes of almost spearament. Taste is heavily herbal, grassy and again nearly a mint hop character. Also sone caramel and biscotti English malt character. Medium light bodied, strainght forward mouthfeel. Finishes medium dry and bitter. I really dig on the hop character. Good beer.

Copper pour with tan head and lace. Light caramel and a nice resiny aroma. Sweet malt, candy, and a nice resiny bitter. Medium bodied and fizzy. Nice beer. phaleslu (10890) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 19, 2010
Draft at Three Floyds, one of the guest taps when I visited. They had it spelled "Beek’s Best", so I’m not sure which one is right. Not a big deal. Pours a clear orange-gold with an eggshell white head that laces the glass. Notes of straw, grain, cereal, wheat, and grassy hops. Light-bodied, with average to low carbonation and a grainy mouthfeel. Sandwiched in between a bunch of Three Floyds beers, this one wasn’t too exciting. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - JUL 25, 2010
Dank malt nose. Pours amber, pretty clear, decent 1/2 white head hangs
around for 5 minutes. Nice hoppy flavor, bitter aftertaste, which is
good, but unfortunately the body is congestive. ContemplateBeer (2097) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUL 15, 2010
Aroma of caramel, biscuit and sugar. Appearance is tinted gold with tan head. Flavor matches the nose. Palate is creamy. Decent for the style, but it won’t fool anyone into thinking it’s from across the pond. vyvvy (6834) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 11, 2010
Sampled at St. Louis Microfest 2010 - Pours amber with a small white head. The aroma has light fruit, lightly toasted malt and some spicy hops. Medium / light crisp grainy body with underscored sharp carbonation. Starts off with amber ale-like malt, some cracker, spice and medicinal traits. The finish is very dry and has spicy earthy hops. An okay beer.
