On tap. Pours a clear orange amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma has a nice combination of sweet grains and citrus hops. Flavor is dominated by pine hops and the grain and citrus notes are an after thought.

phaleslu (9706) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 19, 2010
Draft at Three Floyds, one of the guest taps when I visited. They had it spelled "Beeks Best", so Im not sure which one is right. Not a big deal. Pours a clear orange-gold with an eggshell white head that laces the glass. Notes of straw, grain, cereal, wheat, and grassy hops. Light-bodied, with average to low carbonation and a grainy mouthfeel. Sandwiched in between a bunch of Three Floyds beers, this one wasnt too exciting.

Draft to sampler at the brewhouse. Looks decent; a transparent copperish brown with white lacing. Smells solid; bitter hops. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Decent and easy to drink.

Draught in Louisville. Bitter. Decent hops. Not a style I search out, but well done for what it is. I imagine an Englishman would like it.
