Bomber from Liquor Barn, Hurstborne. Sounded like an interesting combination of ingredients, even though I’m not crazy about the brewery. Deep golden pour with a nice fluffy head, light lingering carbonation and lacing. Nose is pretty disjointed, with yeast and spice at the center, but lemongrass and agave pulling in opposite directions. Tug of war continues, accentuated by the thin body, with spice struggling to be noticed amidst what’s almost a mentholated character that (sadly) develops at length. Not so good, I’m afraid. devman171 (1221) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - JUL 21, 2013
Pours light with nice head, aroma is light spice, taste is light sweet spices, decent. DialSquare (5030) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Bomber from Proof. Gold pour, pillowy white head. Aroma is yeast, lemon, pepper. Tastes are the same - citrusy, peppercorn, herbal, honey. Slightly warm. Oily palate and long bitter finish. ExpendableHero (924) - Florida, USA - JUL 9, 2013
Hazy golden beer with a white head. Aromas of lemon peel and citrus zest. Tastes of muted lemon shandy, mild candy sugar, some sweet dough, and black pepper in the finish. There is also a touch of agave which makes the beer a bit more refreshing. The black pepper in the finish is bitter and a bi unpleasant. Light bodied beer, smooth, but not necessarily easy to drink. Not all that great. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Bottle in Vail with my dad. Pour is clear orange-amber with a smal white head and good lacing. Fruity, bready, husky, corny, somewhat sweet, and grassy aroma. Taste is corny, fruity, biscuity, plastic, somewhat vegetal, and doughy. Light body with soft carbonation. Bleh.

Sample at the Aficionado’s "Hidden Gems" beer tasting on 05/24/2013: Clear orange pour with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Spices and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of bready malt, spice and hops. The finish is sweet with a grainy malt aftertaste. Decent overall. rondphoto (4448) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAY 6, 2013
Clear medium amber with a long-lasting white head and swaths of lace. Taste begins with malt and biscuit that grows sweeter through the palate, finally allowing a touch of hops bittering to bring things into balance. A full-bodied saison, exceptionally well done. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - MAR 26, 2013
Another fine "New Albanian" brew that I purchased from Liquor Direct in Covingron. KY - Yo, this is a most berrycentric blonde (I knew a lady like that before).. it’d a good beer, just not my taste and style,. AndyW68 (1542) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 8, 2013
Copper with n white head. Aroma was mainly orange. Taste was flowers, bread and tea. It reminded me of a dryer sheet. Not bad, not great. LilBeerDoctor (3930) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 24, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma of bready malt, floral perfume, light fruits, herbal notes. Flavor of herbal tea and light fruits up front followed by a very bready finish. The sweet agave is pretty faint here, doesn’t overpower the beer. Plenty of herbal/floral notes abound. Interesting and tasty saison.
