Clear dark copper body, beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, light caramel. Soft light-medium body, low carbonation. Defnitely a full-on red ale. Big malt notes combine with an interesting hop bill that isn’t too harsh.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2010 Sample at Heorot in Muncie, IN. The beer pours a clear brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark malt, caramel and hops. Medium body with flavors of piney hops and malt plus a touch of citrus. The finish is hoppy up front and settles to a sweet malty aftertaste.
