Half at NABC; currently at 8%. Aroma: Moderate buttered toffee with a light spiciness; not much in the way of fruit or hops. Appearance: Dark ruby brown with a bubbly tan head that settles into a ring. Flavor: Matches the nose; light spiciness up front with a heavy buttered toffee thing going on; lingers on a bit with some obvious alcohol. Palate: Light body, slick texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: Not a pleasurable drinking experience on most any level. jcr (2784) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - MAR 13, 2013
Cask. Clear amber body with an off-white head. Aroma of toasted grain, raisin, candy and spice. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Peppery alcohol in the finish. Medium body, watery texture, moderate carbonation. Taste of bready yeast. Unfortunately, the alcohol and bitter hops gang up on the flavors. Light tastes of caramel and cream.

Pours nearly clear red-copper with a small off white head.
Scent of bread...caramel...
Flavour reminds me of a a highly sweetened coffee...
Cream, milk, sugar,...
A little spice and a leafy bitter..
Very good. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - DEC 26, 2012
