bomber. copper pour with a thin off white and frothy retention. aroma is butterscotch, sweet candied malts, plum. tastes are pine, overly spicy, earthy, alcohol, soap... I wonder if this has gone bad. got it at fermentation bottle shop, so decent chance - everything is dusty there. anyway - didn’t like. 5.8

Basil/citrus aroma. Flavor has an ample medium to high bitterness, but it jsut sucks, soy sauce, metal, and caramel. Shit.

22oz bomber pours deep slightly hazy gold with a nice looking tan head of foam. The aroma offers up tangerine, grapefruit, some apricot and a sweet cantaloupe like sensation. The taste is resiny citrus that is sweetened up by some malts. It pretty much maintains the same rich and deep sweetened citrus hop notes and bitter hop resin right into the finish.

Burned orange color, moslty a white head. Lots of floral hops, citrus, sweet malt, oranges, finishes a tad dry on the notes.

22 oz. bottle, sent from StFun (thanks Josh), pours a cloudy opaque orangey amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out woody resinous hops, pine, some metallic undertones, and some peppery toasted malt. Flavour brings out shitloads of peppery hops, a pronounced spiciness, metallic notes, wood, and more pepper. Did I mention there is pepper in here? Not sure what the hell this is supposed to be, but it’s dominated by pepper and metallic notes. Not very good.

A nice golden orange pour, citrusy and hoppy with some grassy notes. It's pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours orange and surprisingly crisp and clear for an Imperial IPA. Thin layer of a white head floats atop. The aroma is all fresh, citrusy hops. The punch is not as big as expected from a 100 IBU beer, but you know it’s an IPA. Loads of citrus and grassy hops give it a very fresh, summery flavor. Enough sweetness from the malt to cut through. With no bottling date, there is no way to know how old it is. The flavor is great, but I’m wondering if the hops have lost some potency. Oh, and it clocks in pushing 11% ABV. Even if this is a little old, it’s really tasty. Lots of hops, enough malt to give it some balance, and deceptively smooth for its ABV and IBU. I’ll definitely do this again!

Bomber. Pours dark reddish orange with a thin off white head. Aroma isn’t all that hoppy, to be honest it smells belgian-ish, sweet malt. Taste has more hop punch but not what i look for in a dipa, and i swear they are using a belgian yeast in this and i think its fuckin up the flavor, the spice notes are interfering too much with the hops I’m wanting to taste. Palate is a bit thin. ok beer, bad dipa.

Not the worst of DIPAs, but too one-dimensional for me. Hoptimus is sweet and grapefruit, and then not much else. Little cloying actually. Has some nice elements, but can’t rate beyond a solid B. 1st try from New Albanian / 220z bottle.

Bomber was a gift/exchanged for some Goose Island Bourbon County Stout. Pours golden with moderate cream head that lingers. Nose is heavily citrus (grapefruit?). Strong citrusy hop flavor with moderate bitter finish. Very tasty and balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
