Draft at the source. Clear golden color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of wet grass and subtle scallions. Taste is bitter grass and a hint of fruit and licorice. Very nice start to a weekend beer trip!

22 oz. bottle, sent from StFun (thanks Josh), pours a cloudy opaque orangey amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out woody resinous hops, pine, some metallic undertones, and some peppery toasted malt. Flavour brings out shitloads of peppery hops, a pronounced spiciness, metallic notes, wood, and more pepper. Did I mention there is pepper in here? Not sure what the hell this is supposed to be, but it’s dominated by pepper and metallic notes. Not very good.

Bottle. Pours reddish amber with white head. Nose and taste of basil, caramel candy, resin, citrus peel medicine and cherry throat lozenges. Medium body.

Bomber from Total Wine in Orlando, FL. Pours translucent copper/amber with minimal head. Smells rather malty. Near full bodied. It’s rather malty and the hops are more floral than anything. Good drink, but clearly not NW style. Works for me.

Tmoney99 (15118) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 1, 2006
Draft at brewpub. Poured hazy copper with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate floral and sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium smooth biiter flavor with a heavy bitter finish of long duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Dogbrick (14303) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 19, 2010
On draught at Brugge Brasserie. This brew is a clear dark amber color with a thin and rocky off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops and citrus along with a touch of honey. Rich body with a strong hops character that has floral and citrus notes. Balancing sweet malt and honey in the background. The finish is moderately bitter hops with an herbal and malt finish. Solid all around.

Basil/citrus aroma. Flavor has an ample medium to high bitterness, but it jsut sucks, soy sauce, metal, and caramel. Shit.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 17, 2008
(Savor, draft) Medium beige head atop hazy light amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, orange, some pine/pineapple, light cattiness. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some orange, light alcohol. Medium-full body, some resin, lightly sticky.

j12601 (13297) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 15, 2012
Growler courtesy of Paul at a tasting at his place. Pours a clear amber with brown hues and a thin to medium sized white head. Oxidization and age apparent on the nose, fruit and plums. Medium bodied, sweet and old. Malt, touch of hops, toast, malt. Moves into an oxidized bitterness with some remnants of hops.

bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 27, 2014
(22oz bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus, herbs, pine, and grass. Flavor of caramel, citrus, herbaceous, grapefruit, pine, and lemon with a bitter finish.
