Draft at Keg Liqour Fest of Ale. Poured clear copper with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate malty and sour citrus aroma. On tap. Pours a cloudy orange with an off-white head that laces nicely. Aroma has a strong pine hop profile with a slight undertone of biscuits. Flavor begins with a strong hop presence, but the biscuit note grows to a well balanced finish. shrubber85 (11582) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 4, 2006

Sampled at St. Louis microfest. A fine attempt at the style. Pours amber with a dense off-white head. The aroma has huge grassiness with lots of pale / pils malt. Medium / body with semi-soft carbonation. The flavor starts very grassy with some spiced hops - the grassiness is really just off the charts. The finish is very grainy and grassy. Easily one of the best I’ve had of the the style. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - FEB 14, 2010
On tap at Steve’s Birthday bash at the Livery: Medium amber hued with a solid but small head. The aroma has notes of pale grains and some crystal malts, herbal and minty hops, a bit of pine, some buttery notes as well. The taste is pretty balanced between the common malts and moderate to light hop bitterness, fruity and a touch minty. The mouth feel is smooth and refreshing, a bit short upon the finish. A good brew but hardly what I think of when it comes to this style. ganache (6035) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 4, 2007
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy copper but looks darker. Sweet, vaguely English hops aroma with definite Cascades. Body is thin and watery, but still has a nice crisp hop bite and a good dose of dry, biscuity malt. Touch of oiliness. Very dry aftertaste. Overall, a bit thin for me, bu a good (pale-ish) session. maniac (3800) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 26, 2007
