5 oz sample draft at the New Albanian Pizzeria and Public House in New Albany, Indiana. The pour is mostly clear golden orange with a white head with great lacing. The aroma is a nice floral resin hop balanced nicely with base malt. The taste has the same balance of hop and malt, with the hop showing resinous floral and a light sweetness from the malt. The palate is medium to light bodied, with soft carbonation and a dry lightly bitter finish. Nice Pale Ale. LilBeerDoctor (3904) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 18, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grassy hops, tropical fruits. Quite a hoppy aroma for a pale ale. Flavor of bitter hops, garlic spices, bready malt, with a bitter finish. Plenty of hops in this one with light pale malts in the backbone. Great pale ale!

Draft to taster at the brewhouse. Looks good for an APA; a transparent burnt-orange with sticky white lacing. Smells solid; bitter hops and malt. Tastes like it smells, but not quite as good; a little thin though. Average on the palate. Not bad. jcr (2692) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JUL 24, 2012

It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Hops nicely balanced with sweet caramel underneath. Tastes of orange, flowers, pine.Bright then dry with lingering bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub on Plaza Drive. Pours a lightly hazed, golden copper colored body with a thin, creamy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is orange hops with a light lemon. Florals and a light pine note balanced with a sweeter caramel backing that really brings out the orange sweetness. Flavor is similar. Lots of orange pines up front with some florals and grass. Sweetness of the orange again comes out a bit from a sweeter caramel backing. Finishes pretty dry and bitter with some pine resins, orange hops, and sweet caramels. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a light carbonation. Overall, a well hopped and tasty pale ale. Lots of orange pines and a sweeter caramel backing with a dry, bitter finish. Nice beer. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - APR 7, 2012
Draft. Golden/amber with a strong white top. Scent is pine and citrus. Taste is same. Very good apa. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - MAR 25, 2012
Growler. Piney grapefruit hops, caramel malt aroma. Orange with a moderate off-white head, nice lacing. Caramel malt, resinous piney hops flavor. Medium body. Good hops malt balance. Tmoney99 (14384) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 23, 2012
Draft. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hops and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where exceeded. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAR 8, 2012
Tap. Orange malt and pine/orange peel hops aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Sweet orange malt and moderately strong orange peel hops/light pine hops flavor. Very nicely blended. Excellent - given NA’s usual great selection, this would be an easy one to overlook, but that would be a mistake.
