Oh yeah. Big and thick and heavy. Has the nice flavor you expect from a stout with those hints of roasted coffee that pair so well. Nice thick brown head, too.

On tap at brewpub
My first tap was this sessionable stout. New Albanian doesnt often stumble and this is no exception. If you are looking for a toned down version of Thunderfoot that doesnt fatigue the palate here is your pour. I dont know how long it will last but if you are anywhere nearby stop in.

Aroma / Appearance - The inky black base swirls like watery ink around the glass. The generous pour left little room for a head. Oatmeal cookies, burnt toast, and a trace of sweetness accent a light but well put together nose.

Flavor / Palate - Fluid and refreshing the mouthfeel opens up the palate. Oatmeal, raisins, bitter malts, and a refreshing aftertaste play together to create a memorable experience. Not so heavy it wears down the palate the result is a good session beer for the money. Id drink a few of these if there werent 12 other compelling options available.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2013 Tap. Chocolate, ash, and oat malt aroma. Opaque dark brown color with nice big light brown head. Sweet chocolate and oatmeal malt flavor - light ashy bitterness in the finish. Very nice. Cask version - lower carbonation but same aroma and flavor.
