On draught at Twenty Tap in Broad Ripple, IN. If you like piney hops, this is your beer. I personally don’t like them, this beer tastes like pine cone and old Christmas potpourri. There is only rye, pine, spice and bitterness. Not my cup of tea, cheers to everyone while I choke this down.
"Yakima" bottle. Pours mid amber with a small ring of lace. Aromas of citrus, light caramel malts, slight faded hops, and some earthiness. The flavor is full of citrus and light piney hops, caramel, light spice, and a touch of alcohol. Decent drinking but wouldn’t seek out again. double deuce - pours deep gold with white head and thin lacing. Nose is citrus and earthy. Flavor adds grass and grapefruit. Quite bitter with a soothing sweetness. Long bitter finish. Dry to the lips. A good brew brew but I don’t care for the hops that is the strongest in flavor. Sledutah (7489) - Utah, USA - APR 21, 2013
22oz bottle thanks to drfabulous savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - NOV 13, 2012
Appearance: It’s a gushery! Cloudy amber with a medium sized off-white head and lots of lacing
Aroma: Dusty, caramel and rye
Taste: Dusty caramel, grapefruit, and rye spices, sticky sweet finish
OK, but wouldn’t go back for another one though.
22oz bottle from Kentucky. Clear golden with a small, thick, off white head. Aroma of citrus, dank, floral, caramel and light rye spiciness. Flavor is bitter upfront with spicy rye bread dough and light alcohol. Medium body with a thick mouth feel. This one is really nice but seems to possibly be a bit old. fauxpunker (76) - Florence, Kentucky, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Bottle. Pours with lacy off-white head. Cloudy. Hoppy, but not overly. Very slight rye spice. Full mouth feel. Not bad.

Aroma is overly/artificially sweet malts and a hint of rye. The flavor is spicy rye, citrus hops and the same too sweet malts dominating. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle: 2nd gusher of the night. Orangish straw, thick haze, large frothy white head, clingy lacing. Nose suggests some Rye, IPA hoppiness, but also some powdery sugar like pixie stix. That pixie stix becomes much more apparent on the tongue. This one seems very much infected. Its a nasty mess of astingent straw and pixie stix candy. This one is blown... deserves a re-rate if I ever come across another bottle. Neat label, but the beer is bunk. Very overcarbonated with moldy cardboard on the exit. Drain pour, this is digusting. Thanks for the try Jeff! b3shine (8800) - Indiana, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Draft to taster at the brewhouse. Looks alright; a transparent gold with sticky white lacing. Smells of bitter hops. Tastes solid; like it smells with nice balance and that rye presence on the back of the tongue. Average on the palate. Pretty good. pauls_parade (340) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 18, 2012
Pour a slightly hazy orange color with an off white head, long lasting and leaving nice lacing. Strong citrus aromas, grapefruit, orange, tangerine, with some rye spice. Light bodied, smooth. The bitterness is very assertive, the rye spice is very present. There’s just a touch of malt to balance. The bitterness is overwhelming, can’t taste much else. hellbilly (3249) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 30, 2012
orange/gold with a monstrously over carbonated head.
aromas of yeast, spice, pine, orange and a ton of florals.
the flavor is the same but with added notes of dust and spice. it is a bit sweet and rather mediocre...5.5/3/5/3/13/
