Draft - As a good friend would say ’juicy’, absurd amount of fruits with hints of mandarin. A bit of spice to contrast the sweetness on the nose. Peppery to start in the taste leading to full on pine and more of the mandarin. The complexity of this beer is amazing, and has to be one of the best I have had in some time. bhensonb (15601) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 27, 2012
Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours amber/gold with a foamy 2 finger white head. Aroma is pine/citrus. Simcoe. Med plus body. Flavor is very bittingly hoppy. Pine/citrus with perhaps some floral. It’s strongly flavored. It finishes extremely bitter. It can stand up proud against NW DIPAs. Very tasty. djd07 (15330) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 26, 2012
On tap at Flying Saucer 12th Anniversary. Pours a cloudy orange gold with large frothy white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is strong floral hops and pine. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet fruit hop and honey with light bitter finish. Alcohol present But not overpowering a good IIIPA from New Belgium. Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex earth hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is an interesting beer.

Bomber from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of herbal and spicy hops with some resin and faint pale malts. The taste is intensly hoppy... as I was hoping... with spicy, peppery, herbal, citrus and resin notes. Some caramel malts also. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, very low heat. Nice beer. crossovert (13724) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2012
IT pours a clear apple cider gold with a fizzy white head that leaves dots of lacing but isn’t particularly pretty.
The smell is tropical, a hint of heirloom tomato. Noticeable grain.
The flavor has some sugar cookie elements along with a tangy hoppiness. Tropical, low bitterness. Super super sweet. Boozy.
Not a huge fan.
