Really seriously this beer is awesome. A great aroma of bitterness and sticky sweet fruit. Looks great. This is an intense aggressive IPA from start to finish. Nothing to complain about here.

Killer aroma that is perfection. Appearance is average but in line with it’s flavor being heavy green hops and forward bitterness. Chewy chewy hops. This beer gets me all misty eyed remembering when I fell in love with IPA’s. You don’t find many this good.

Good beer is good by every measure, but greatness can be subjective. For me, this is one of the most enjoyable beers I’ve ever tasted. I’ve heard good things from people I trust when it comes to palate and once I tasted this amazing double/super IPA and instantly loved it. Aroma is fresh hops and lots of citrus and floral notes. Also some candy and spice present. Not quite grapefruit, but some other citrus is present. Maybe Cara Cara orange. It pours a slightly cloudy and beautiful orange color with a this white head that gives way to moderate lacing. It’s medium bodied and there is some hot alcohol in the back of each sip, but not overwhelming for a 9% abv beer. Some resin and oil, but very smooth. It tastes amazing. I love the pine and citrus hops that give way to a unique citrus flavor like a cara cara orange or maybe a mandarin and some definite pineapple comes through as does some cotton candy and perhaps dreamsicle or push-ups. A little malt to balance the hops and some delicate spicing. It’s very balanced and not bitter at all. No astringent aftertaste. Actually, the lingering taste is of the citrus and pineapple. Again. All reviews and palates are subjective. For me, a must drink and a huge winner.

The Über-Super IPA! Collaboration with Alpine Beer Company. Very rich and smooth, well balanced flavour. Rich in everything, but expertly balanced. Pines, stable, hops and alcohol. A very good adult beverage!

64 oz growler from Ale Yeah! for ~$10... deep golden / orange pour with a white head. huge dank, pine, citrus nose - smells like opening a bag of hops on brew day! med body with an up front dank / citrus / pine bitterness with layers of tropical fruit and pine notes. sticky finish with pineapple, orange peel, pine and resin. amazing IIPA - this has Alpine all over it - love it!

I’m not much of an IPA guy, and quite frankly, I was expecting this to be one of those "too hoppy" IPAs. The New Belgium Super India Pale delivers a refreshing taste, pours a light gold brown, has a small, but not too small head and a perfect balance of taste. It wasn’t too bitter and was followed with a some what sweet after taste to counterbalance it’s hoppy taste.

22 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Chesapeake, VA. Yellowish-orange pour with a fluffy off-white head. Enticing aroma of pine resins, fresh cut grass, and grapefruit. The flavor is no letdown with pineapple and mango alongside pine and fresh cut grass. Dangerously drinkable at 9%. An outstanding DIPA.

This is honestly the best beer I have tasted. A nice very bitter IIPA, with tons of fruity qualities. The aroma is largely from the amarillo hops: apricot and grapefruit and a touch of sweetness or peach. Taste is bitter all the way. Fruity bitterness on the tip of the tongue, and a slight resinous hop bitterness on the back of the tongue. Beer comes off a touch sweet, and not dry or harsh in the after-taste. Beautifully formulated beer, with tons of flavours contributing to this amazing product. Yum. This beer is all about the hops, will defiantly look at cloning this beer in a home-brew recipe sometime.

22oz bomber for xmas. (thanks Charles) Dank aroma. Warm alcohol, not hot. Well balanced. Great hop flavor, but not overly bitter.
