Pours a really nice orange, nice head, and the chilies aren’t overpowering giving it a very nice finish to the palate. Wish I would of got more on my trip to Florida. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Absolutely wonderful. I'm getting a slight undercurrent of cherries, perfectly balanced by a peppery infusion. Very drinkable, and recommended highly. A-

Clear gold-copper with big, foamy, white head, fine lacing / Clean, sweet nose of citrus, mango, chile, resin, spice / Medium body, somewhat fat, modest sweetness with chile kick, resinous and lightly stick but nicely balanced / Flavors of resin, spun sugar, honey, mild chile pepper, orange peel, mango / Nicely restrained and balanced. On tap at World of Beer. Golden orange color with a creamy head. Citrus aromas. Flavors of Belgian yeast and clove, but also citrus hops. Finishes with orange peel and a hint of hot peppers. Very interesting beer. Refreshing. Very citrusy. Complex. This is like a Blue Moon, but much higher quality, and then there’s the whisper of hot pepper. Very interesting. I really like this one. dreamflower (790) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 3, 2014
Zippy and hoppy. On tap at JL Beers in Grand Forks. I really enjoyed this beer.

Liked this collaboration. Two well established breweries brewed a good tasting beer that has good color, taste and aroma. Chilis are apparent, but not overwhelming. Some citrus detected. Would seek out this beer in the future. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - JAN 1, 2014
22oz bottle. Orange amber color. Light nose of peppers, some cedar intense, simple toasted grains. Flavor of cereal, hints of chilis, nice grains. Smooth finish, very well balanced. (3927) rajendra82 (1093) - Alpharetta, Georgia, USA - DEC 14, 2013
The body was clear, orange amber, and the carbonation was lively, forming a two finger thick head in the tulip glass. The aroma was very tropical, reminding me of both mango and passion fruit. The taste was layered, with the first impression being a weaker IPA like herbal hop presence, but then the hints of chili peppers poked out. The finish had a bit of vanilla beans in it. The beer did feel lacking in the texture, as it felt a little watered down and over attenuated. I would have liked it to have some sticky feel to it, as it would have med the flavors linger better. I was happy I tried this once, but it’s not something I would go out of my way to find again. CpyNPrnT (616) - Indiana, USA - DEC 17, 2013
Bomber. Once poured, this beer is a light golden brown and gives off a nice aroma of malt and hops. Tastes somewhat spicy, with nice amounts of alcohol coming through. The palate definitely warms when this beer is consumed, nicely done! handlebar (18) - Chico, California, USA - DEC 18, 2013
So, this beer is a bit of an anomaly. The aroma is extremely subtle, yet inviting. Where most chili infused beers finish with heat, the kick in this beer is up front, though it’s not overwhelming. There are all sorts of complexities playing together here; it’s medium body light bitterness allow the Spanish cedar to have a prominent role...all in all, it is a very unique beer. We’d expect nothing less from Cigar City and New Belgium...
