Roasted caramelish flavoured with a distinct phenolic note. Dry and roasted malty into the finish. Ungstrup (38940) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2006
A deep red beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet yeasty and malty with slight notes of burnt malt. The flavor is sweet malty with quite a lot of caramel and yeast, combined with lighter spicy notes. The alcohol burns slightly in the throat, and mixes with a dry spicy end. joergen (29611) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 21, 2008

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Slightly hazy orangey brown with a beige head. Aroma of yeast, fruit and roasted malt. Medium-bodied with some sweet, roasted malt, dried fruit and yeast. Not overly thrilling. 191206 fiulijn (21511) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 20, 2007
Dark chestnut color; big creamy head. Delicate aroma of caramel and roasted malt, perfumy, elegant. Medium body strength; the flavor is too much monodimensional for my liking: caramel only. Professionally brewed, with a good choice of yeast. mcberko (19837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 12, 2011
12 oz. bottle, pours a slightly hazy ruby red with minimal head. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, candied sugar and Belgian yeast. Flavour of dark dried fruits, caramel, a little candied sugar, slight spiciness and lots of yeast - palate is quite dry, with medium complexity and a dry vinous finish. Solid though nothing spectacular.
