Bottle from Ralphs: Poured a dim blonde liquid that looked similar to other white ales I have drank while a frothy thick topping of foam rested on top. Aroma smells of hops and a hint of Belgian yeast. The drink is funky and for sure taste like a cross between a Belgian witbier and a West Coast IPA, probably more so than other hybrid white IPAís I have tasted in the past. Has a very bitter bite to this beer along with an extreme tartness as if I was eating an unripe kiwi or pear. rader58 (899) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - DEC 14, 2013
12 oz bottle. Pours extremely light yellow with a white tint. Aroma of "did someone just peel a tangerine?" awesomeness with very subtle hints of pine. Flavor is bountiful tangerine and tropical fruit followed by pine with a very clean finish. Iím currently loving this winter seasonal. kjc51478 (441) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - DEC 14, 2013
12 oz Bottle. Appearance is light orangish color with merdium, off-white head. Aroma is wheat, hay, and citrus, maybe some spice. Taste is wheat, sweet malts, citrus hops, some mild spice. Palate is medium-bodied, smooth texture, slightly thin, average carbonation, and a mild dry finish. Excellent winter beer. jhp40219 (449) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Pours a hazy straw color with a white hue. Small bright white head that leaves a fair amount of lacing. Wonderful aroma of citrus, (orange, pineapple, lemon), with pine and clove. Taste is lighter than expected after the big aroma. Light citrus of orange and lemon with peach and a bit of biscuit. A little thin with pretty high carbonation. With such a big aroma from these two amazingly delicious hops, Iím not sure why it didnít transfer over into the taste. Still tasty, but not on the level I expected. wmflynn (15) - Northumberland, ENGLAND - DEC 13, 2013
Pours light, honey-golden. 1-inch white head with lacing. Bouquet of hops, fruit, pineapple. Crisp, hoppy and citrus flavour. A good winter IPA. Very drinkable.

Bottle to glass at room temp. Pours a straw colour and has a lot of citrus on the nose. Taste of citrus, peach and some hops. A bit too much carbonation for me. lawman834 (268) - Texas, USA - DEC 11, 2013
A very slightly hazy straw color. Thin white head, great lacing. Highly carbonated...looks more like a Pils than an IPA. Lemon Peel, Grapefruit, Floral. Hoppy, but far less so than most IPAs...again, it reminds me a bit of a good Pils. Balanced maltiness on the finish. Crisp and quite drinkable. Very impressive. The best New Belgium offering Iíve sampled. kujo9 (1095) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - DEC 11, 2013
12 oz bottle, poured at the release party @ Kalahari resort: Hazy pale golden color with a lasting white head. Aromas of stone fruit, light citrus, and floral piney hops, Malt is caramel and lightly toasty. Balance is hop forward in flavor and bitterness, but smoother than Ranger IPA. Aftertaste is lightly bitter and floral fruity flavored. Body and carbonation are medium. Really nice IPA! Hop character is smoother and less bitter than Ranger.
