COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Accumulation White IPA was inspired by the white beauty that falls each winter from our Colorado sky. Flurries of Mosaic and Amarillo hops bring soft fruit and citrus flavor, followed by a layer of bitter. Piled high in IBUs, Accumulation will make your winter brighter.

Bottle to glass at room temp. Pours a straw colour and has a lot of citrus on the nose. Taste of citrus, peach and some hops. A bit too much carbonation for me.

A very slightly hazy straw color. Thin white head, great lacing. Highly carbonated...looks more like a Pils than an IPA. Lemon Peel, Grapefruit, Floral. Hoppy, but far less so than most IPAs...again, it reminds me a bit of a good Pils. Balanced maltiness on the finish. Crisp and quite drinkable. Very impressive. The best New Belgium offering Ive sampled.

12 oz bottle, poured at the release party @ Kalahari resort: Hazy pale golden color with a lasting white head. Aromas of stone fruit, light citrus, and floral piney hops, Malt is caramel and lightly toasty. Balance is hop forward in flavor and bitterness, but smoother than Ranger IPA. Aftertaste is lightly bitter and floral fruity flavored. Body and carbonation are medium. Really nice IPA! Hop character is smoother and less bitter than Ranger.

Bottle. Pours with a clear, quite pale hued body with a large, foamy and retentive white head. Aromas are of grass, resin, tropical fruit, mosaic. Lightly fruity esters, very mild malt. Flavors are fruity and mildly bitter with peach, mango, tropical fruit hop notes. Grassy, very nice subtle malt toasty character (soft). Mild esters, citrus rind. Medium bodied with fuller carbonation.

Pailhead (6539) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - DEC 10, 2013
Bottle: The aroma consists of light-moderate grapefruit, light citrus, tropical fruit, lemon peel, and a touch of pepper. It pours a transparent dull gold with a one finger white head that leaves behind a lot of sticky webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with peach, apricot, citrus, and faint bubblegum. The finish has light grapefruit, herbal hops, lemon solvent, and a touch of pepper. Its light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, the flavors just dont see to mesh and lemon solvent is always off putting.

On tap at New Belgium Hub at DEN. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a small white head that hangs around. Nose is light malts and pine and cittus. Bitter grapfruit through the short dry finish. Notes of orange and tangerine. Mouth is quite light with active carbonation. This a little delicate for an IPA but an interesting combination.
