Bottle. Date on the side: 03/02/14. A pale gold pour with a thick off-white head. Grapefruits, pine, peaches, zesty citrus rinds, and a biscuity graininess dominate the aroma. Goes down fairly thin and watery. A wheaty graininess starts things off taste-wise. Some very light caramel flavors follow. Oranges, grapefruits, and some citrus rinds round things out with a bitterness that lingers. A hint of pineapple. Yeasty/funky. Spicy. A peppery bite at the end. OK. Had this on tap at Yogis in Bloomington. Pours light gold with a medium white head. Very well balanced hop flavor. Smooth white IPA. A perfect white IPA for a cold winter night.

Really nice beer! Surprisingly good. Aroma is nothing special but the taste is great! Lots of citrus flavor with a tropical fruity hop burp.
Finish is bitter and light. The hop notes are the focus with this one... rgf001 (351) - Austin, Texas, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Grapefruit nose. Pours pale white with white head. Spicy, orange peel, citrus taste. Finished dry. JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 14, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2015 Bottle. Hazy pale yellow pour, with a white head. Citrus, light fruity esters, hops bitterness, peach, and light biscuit malt. Surprisingly good IPA from new belgium.
New rating 12-2015. Tastes sweeter now, almost like added aspartame to the beer. Citrusy, bitter, bready, and lightly fruity.

Bottle from Ralphs: Poured a dim blonde liquid that looked similar to other white ales I have drank while a frothy thick topping of foam rested on top. Aroma smells of hops and a hint of Belgian yeast. The drink is funky and for sure taste like a cross between a Belgian witbier and a West Coast IPA, probably more so than other hybrid white IPA’s I have tasted in the past. Has a very bitter bite to this beer along with an extreme tartness as if I was eating an unripe kiwi or pear. rader58 (926) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - DEC 14, 2013
12 oz bottle. Pours extremely light yellow with a white tint. Aroma of "did someone just peel a tangerine?" awesomeness with very subtle hints of pine. Flavor is bountiful tangerine and tropical fruit followed by pine with a very clean finish. I’m currently loving this winter seasonal. kjc51478 (441) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - DEC 14, 2013
12 oz Bottle. Appearance is light orangish color with merdium, off-white head. Aroma is wheat, hay, and citrus, maybe some spice. Taste is wheat, sweet malts, citrus hops, some mild spice. Palate is medium-bodied, smooth texture, slightly thin, average carbonation, and a mild dry finish. Excellent winter beer. jhp40219 (449) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Pours a hazy straw color with a white hue. Small bright white head that leaves a fair amount of lacing. Wonderful aroma of citrus, (orange, pineapple, lemon), with pine and clove. Taste is lighter than expected after the big aroma. Light citrus of orange and lemon with peach and a bit of biscuit. A little thin with pretty high carbonation. With such a big aroma from these two amazingly delicious hops, I’m not sure why it didn’t transfer over into the taste. Still tasty, but not on the level I expected. wmflynn (15) - Northumberland, ENGLAND - DEC 13, 2013
Pours light, honey-golden. 1-inch white head with lacing. Bouquet of hops, fruit, pineapple. Crisp, hoppy and citrus flavour. A good winter IPA. Very drinkable.
