Accumulation White IPA was inspired by the white beauty that falls each winter from our Colorado sky. Flurries of Mosaic and Amarillo hops bring soft fruit and citrus flavor, followed by a layer of bitter. Piled high in IBUs, Accumulation will make your winter brighter.

Pours clear, light golden color, with excellent lacing. Aroma of lemon peel and fresh cut grass. Heavy on the bitterness but finishes pretty clean. Pretty good beer but doesnt scream winter seasonal.

On tap at Pats Tap. Pours a near clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of sweet wheat and sweet citrus with a touch of grass underlying. Flavor is grass and sweet wheat forward with some citrus underlying.

Pours a soft yellow color, lemonade maybe. You could call it white, but thats reaching. A little hazy. About one finger white head. Pretty nice lacing. Some retention.

Aroma is grapefruit juice. Fresh bursts of floral hops. Smells great.

Taste is fresh, lively. Its citrusy and bitter like you would expect from an IPA, but its perhaps not as bitter as most. Theres also some fruit in there also. There are some sort of spices in this, perhaps "winter" spices, although I cant single out anything in particular. This is quite well carbonated, and I think that plays into the flavor a lot. This is pretty well balanced, but I cant quite detect the malts, it might even have some wheat in it. The bitterness seems to come from earthy hops. Pretty complex, but tasty.

Mouthfeel is medium to full. Its crisp and very dry. Bitter, yes, but it doesnt taste as bitter as many IPAs that Ive had. I could totally session several of these, but most people probably couldnt.

Overall, Im having some trouble rating this. I like this quite a lot. As Im finishing this, there is some great lacing bottom to top on the glass. This is better than I expected. I think I would recommend this. If I were dreaming of a white IPA, this would be it!

On tap at Hopcat. Wow! New Belgium rep taught us their tasting method. Smelled more in this beer than any other. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light yellow body some white head and lacing. Grainy and hoppy aroma. Resin. Taste is unusual. Resin, yeast, and maybe some tropical fruit but a little more bite and a little less resinous would be nice.

Bottle to shaker glass, pours hazy straw yellow. Quick one finger white head. Light lacing with slight retention. Aroma of pineapple and biscuit. Taste is mainly bitter, slightly sour with just enough sweetness to balance. Light bodied, fizzy carbonation, crisp, clean mouth feel. Finishes tart. Tasting notes of lemon zest, pineapple, biscuit, grass, white grapefruit, coriander and Belgian wild yeast. Im not really a fan of white IPAs but I like this! Much better then expected.
