Accumulation White IPA was inspired by the white beauty that falls each winter from our Colorado sky. Flurries of Mosaic and Amarillo hops bring soft fruit and citrus flavor, followed by a layer of bitter. Piled high in IBUs, Accumulation will make your winter brighter.

Looks are deceiving. Very light non-descriptive color but nice combination of lemon, grapefruit and slightly sweet rye malts that finishes with a clean bitterness. I could drink this any season. Good stuff.

November 22nd, 2014 - New Belgiums tact to winter has always seemed a little different, and a little deviant. Instead of pushing out a slew of heavier beers, winter warms and brown, sweet brews, they go with lighter approaches. Take, for example, the Accumulation, which is a light gold beer with a slight haze and a slight transparency, topped with a centimeter and a half of mottled foam. To all appearances, this could be a pilsener, though the light hops in the aroma gives the style away. This scent is lightly floral but not too intense. The palate is light and refreshing, with a good carbonation that Id sooner expect in a summer style beer. Notes of white grape and dandelion also play to the summer season, with a dankness in the aftertaste. It seems like New Belgium has borrowed some of the flavor of the famous San Diego IPA and plopped it into this beer, creating a miniature and milder version. All of this is quite unexpected, especially when I look out the window and confirm that it is still indeed cold, with lines of snow left on the ground. But it does work well when the house or cabin is warm and the body temperature hits summer highs.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2017 Pours a pale yellow color and has some decent lacing. It has an aroma of lemony hops. It has a juicy, citrusy taste without being too bitter. This is a really smooth beer. Like this a lot!

Light flowery grapefruit smell, lots of floaties, smooth grapefruit taste of the same smell, light complexity...Good for an IPA, but not great...Lightly sweet...At home day before superbowl

Hazy straw yellow with a small white head. The aroma is pretty mellow tropical fruit cocktail. Mango, pineapple, and orange, with a small amount of yeast esters, but pretty low key altogether. The flavor is also like mellow tropical fruit, but with a bit of noticeable wheat. Low IBU, and pretty bland. Although it is fruity, I would not call it hoppy.

Good nose, herbal, green, light yeast and pine. Light pale yellow. White head. Good ale taste, solid bitter middle, some celery and citrus. Palate: smooth and round. Overall: good dry ale. Lacking in malt flavors but ok.

A pale and light hued beer. A zingy little citrus nose. Its very light bodied with very little malt character to it. It has a citrus/herb flavor which is pleasant. It just has nothing out of the ordinary.

Pours up a clear golden color with some haze, topped with a thin white head. Nice hoppy aroma, a little floral with some dank. Medium body with medium carbonation. Nice smooth IPA with well balanced malt sweetness and strong hop flavor. Not too bitter, with medium hoppy finish. Nice
