3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly hazy straw gold pour with a 1 finger, fluffy white head that has great retention and leaves decent lacing. Aroma is toast, citrus, a little tart stone fruit and the signature New Belgium weird grainy malt notes that I can never quite identify. Flavor is sweet malt and toast up front, grass, sweet grapefruit, acidic hop bite and New Belgium toasty grainy notes. Light body with a dry feel throughout, has a medium, blanketing and sharp carbonation and somewhat astringent finish with that snappy, sharp acidic hoppy bite that is pretty intriguing. Good overall, but not much going on.
Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours clear gold with a thick white head and a citrus aroma. There is a light malt flavor with some citrus and a dry earthy finish. Moderately bitter and quite refreshing. MavDunk (105) - - MAY 14, 2017
From bottle to glass. Pours a slightly cloudy light golden with white head. Aroma of citrus. Taste is hoppy and citrusy with slight bitter aftertaste. Good taste. Not too astringent. LowBrau (139) - Tonawanda, New York, USA - APR 3, 2017
Pale colored, like hazy lemonade, with a small white head. Apple and citrus aromas, skunky and piney hops. Sweet, tart, and bitter balanced well against each other, a little too bitter, if anything. MBlessing (1312) - Württemberg, GERMANY - APR 2, 2017

November 22nd, 2014 - New Belgium’s tact to winter has always seemed a little different, and a little deviant. Instead of pushing out a slew of heavier beers, winter warms and brown, sweet brews, they go with lighter approaches. Take, for example, the Accumulation, which is a light gold beer with a slight haze and a slight transparency, topped with a centimeter and a half of mottled foam. To all appearances, this could be a pilsener, though the light hops in the aroma gives the style away. This scent is lightly floral but not too intense. The palate is light and refreshing, with a good carbonation that I’d sooner expect in a summer style beer. Notes of white grape and dandelion also play to the summer season, with a dankness in the aftertaste. It seems like New Belgium has borrowed some of the flavor of the famous San Diego IPA and plopped it into this beer, creating a miniature and milder version. All of this is quite unexpected, especially when I look out the window and confirm that it is still indeed cold, with lines of snow left on the ground. But it does work well when the house or cabin is warm and the body temperature hits summer highs. ElCapitan22 (363) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 5, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2017 Pours a pale yellow color and has some decent lacing. It has an aroma of lemony hops. It has a juicy, citrusy taste without being too bitter. This is a really smooth beer. Like this a lot! geologyguy (1604) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - FEB 5, 2017
UPDATED: APR 21, 2017 Light flowery grapefruit smell, lots of floaties, smooth grapefruit taste of the same smell, light complexity...Good for an IPA, but not great...Lightly sweet...At home day before superbowl x2
