Pours pale yellow with thick white head. Aroma of citrus, stone fruit, and wheat. Taste is stone fruit, citrus, cherry, melon. Very smooth and refreshing. No booze at all. Very dangerous. Mouthfeel is medium. Overall excellent triple IPA. One of the best

On tap at PreFunk. Hop resin rules the day, overload of pine, dry sappy bitterness. Slightly hazy pour with small creamy white head. Hops on the nose and full force in the taste. Dry sweet finish. This is what IPAs are all about. User134089 (1644) - - NOV 30, 2014
Glass: Pint glass
From: Alpine Beer Company Pub in Alpine, Calif.
Purchased: Nov. 28, 2014
Consumed: Nov. 28, 2014
Misc.: Collaboration with New Belgium
Poured a honey, golden, clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of khaki, white, rocky head when I got it. Serene setting underneath the head. Semi-layered spotty, spiderweb lacing on the sides of the glass. Above average retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled skunky resin hops, Citra hops, floral hops, caramel, nectarine, nectarine rind, a tad earthy and pungent grapefruit. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted booziness right away. Also mango, orange juice, tropical hops, caramel, rubbing alcohol, sharp tangerine, vegetables and floral hops late. (Taste - 3.88)
Medium body. Creamy-to-oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter, somewhat astringent finish. (Feel - 3.75)
This beer had its’ moments, but not one of the top Alpine IPA’s I’ve had. (I know it was a collaboration). Still decent though. (Overall - 3.88)

Draft. Aromatic. Floral. Fruity. Very hoppy. Strong bitterness with a Moderate duration. Fresh. hotstuff (5142) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 15, 2014
Rated on 02-02-2013 (Bottle) This beer pours a small smooth white head that is mostly lasting, transparent golden body, very fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is pine, earthy hops and caramel malt. The flavor is pine hops, bitter, alcohol and caramel malt. The mouthfeel is lively and this beer is medium bodied. The ABV comes through in the flavor and this is a hop head beer.

"Citrus and slight tropical fruit abounds in this sticky yet very drinkable double ipa. though intensely flavored, didnt think this was a 9% brew. Very fresh, very good. Alpine and NB know what they’re doing with the hoppy stuff." TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Pours clear golden color with white head. Pine, citrus, and floral notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Just an average IPA, nothing special. stantheman (1036) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 23, 2014
On tap at St Augustine’s in Vancouver. A medium amber ale, with a bit of white head. No mention of peppers in the listed description, but they are sure by gosh there! They combine mightily well with the hop brigade to provide a very interesting diversion from the usual swill. Well done! Christpuncher (3110) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2014
Horrible horrible beer. Curry flavored ipa which is really sweet and coco nutty. Smells like coconut and pours a light yellow.

2012 bottle and on tap: pours golden with a light white head. The hops are amazing. Bright citrus along with piney resin flavor. Malt is balanced. As with anything from Alpine, a great beer!!
