Aroma is disgusting nasty sweet cherry cough syrup, taste is so gross, super fake, bong water, dirt and water, so bad. Finish is gross. Pour on tap at Avery Sourfest, dark brownish pour with white head, aroma brought notes of tart fruit, roast, hints of vinegar, oak, slight earthy notes into a mix of smoke, whiskey, slight dark fruits in there. Taste is a mix of dark fruit, roast, some slight earth, smoke, hints of tart fruit, oak, slight vinegar into a bit of funk, finishing fairly sweet, slightly tart. Tap at 4th Annual Boulder SourFest (2013). Murky amber pour with a small white head and good lacing. Tannin, peach skin, oaky, lightly spicy, whisky, and cherry-like aroma. Taste is caramel, toffee, tart fruits, light vinegar, somewhat woody, good spice, peaches, and green apples with a medium tart finish. Light body with Medium carbonation. Tasty, for sure. On tap at Avery Sour Fest poured a hazy gold with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of straw, citrus, horseblanket and oak. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tar finish. Flavors of straw,horseblanket and light citrus with a crisp dy tart lingering funky straw finish.
