One of my favorite beers! I love the combination of hops and yeast used. Found this on tap at a local bar. sextjk5 (10) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 27, 2011
Given to me as a birthday gift by a great friend, the best gift i received by far, i savor each 6 pack, never wanting to run out. munsemj (18) - Montana, USA - AUG 22, 2012
One of my new favorites. Aroma slightly of a nice Belgian white and then comes the hops! One of the smoothest and best tasting IPAs I’ve ever had. Can’t tell its 7 percent - I see why its so popular TheBeerCollector (633) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - DEC 13, 2011
Bottle. Pours clear gold with a significant fluffy white head. Aroma of grassy hops and a hint of cloves. Flavor: can you say hops. Hops up front, in the middle and rounding out the finish. But not bitter hops because they are cleverly mellowed out by the Belgian yeast. What a great beer. Would pair well with sweet foods and yeasty white bread sandwiches. Bottle. Golden and lively, what a sexy beer! Nice rolling head of white foam atop the ascending carbonation. The initial aroma is full of seductive esthers and yeast, and the beer delivers on the promise ... with a prolific blend of Belgium-inspired yeasty fruitiness and a kiss of American hops, this is a great mash-up of styles. Me want more. (#4415, 12/19/2011)

Poured into a wide flute glass.. Amber, transparent with a two fingers of white head. Great lacing.
Amazing smell. Pine, lemon, malt undertone and hint of banana. Really good and unique profile.
Sharp grapefruit taste, lemon too. A short malt flavor attempts a breakthrough to no avail. The bitterness is gripping well after the drink.
Soft texture, moderate carbonation and medium body.
Superbly made beer. It was really a wonder to drink. The combinations of taste, smell and mouthfeel are one-offs. thetmaxx (917) - West Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 12, 2011
Poured into my new Belgium Tulip glass. Aroma is nice, the simcoe and Amarillo hops come through well. Flavor is bitter but I didn’t taste the Belgium character. Palate is thin and watery. appearance us slightly hazy with a prevalent head, and lacing. Overall not a bad ipa, just wish the Belgium influence. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - FEB 4, 2012
Pours golden with a large pillowy white head. Smells faintly sweet with some floral and citrus notes. Tastes a tad fruity with some strong bitterness on the back end. Light-medium bodied with a wet texture and mild mouth-carbonation, New Belgium Belgo IPA finishes with a nice lasting bitterness. dhunter151 (590) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - JAN 26, 2013
A well done Belgium style IPA. The Belgian yeast gives it a unique flavor. Taste of citrus and earthiness.

This is a pretty tasty IPA. Definitely has some Belgian spice, which I am enjoying in what I consider a different style from the traditional IPA. The flavor is nice, some spice and a bit of hops. Smooth, almost more like a Belgian pale ale. Good Stuff.
