Crisp clear gold. Nice hop and malt nose to it. Big flavor with a crisp finish. Nice grain taste smooth and refreshing.

Great-looking beer! Hazy-golden-yellow with a frothy and very white head... leaves intricate Brussel's Lace patterns behind. Inviting aroma. Nearly perfect mouthfeel... not too smooth, not too rough. Richly malted and little bready, yet crisp, clean, and nicely effervescent. Wonderful, bitter aftertaste... finishes somewhat dry. Very enjoyable and easy-drinking. valetdepique (1) - USA - JAN 7, 2006 does not count
Everything a pilsner should be--clean, bitter, flavorful I tried it when out West, in Nevada and Calfornia, and was disappointed to see that it is not shipped out of the region. punklawyer (100) - USA - FEB 14, 2004
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2006 Fort Collins has lots of good pilseners but this is the finest. New Belgium can always be trusted. Chuckerdoo (8) - - OCT 7, 2013 does not count
A light aroma, but more than expected from a lager. Pale straw in color. Crisp and fruity in flavor.
