Cloudy amber color with copper hue, small head. Nice aroma, sour with a lot of cherry pits, and some funkiness. Puckery sour, cherry flavor, very acidic; astringent in the final.
Very nice. Extreme. Complex.
750mL bottle, pours a cloudy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite complex, with wood from the barrels upfront along with various wild yeasts. Flavour is very complex, with loads of red wine barrels, medium tartness and wild yeasts. Harmonious and wonderfully balanced. The age has done this well, with no off-notes discernible. Bottle shared by Andy at 5K/10K/4K. Pours dark orange amber with off white head. Nose and taste of citrus, tangy acid, funk, wild yeast and soured fruit. Medium body. Finishes with a lingering tartness/mostly acid. Well balanced.

A: The pour is a dark copper color with plenty of red accents. The head is towering and off-white.
S: Lots of acidity in the nose. Mostly lactic sourness, but a fair amount of vinegar as well, along with sour cherries, lemons, and oak.
T: The flavor is almost like a more intense La Folie (if that’s possible). Lots of sour cherries, lemons, and green apples. The vinegar is quite noticeable as is a musty funk and tannic oak quality.
M: The body is medium with a high level of carbonation and a very puckering and dry finish.
D: This is one of the more sour beers I’ve ever had, and I enjoyed it. Lots of great cherry and wood notes, and the vinegar was potent but not over the top.

75o ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of carmel, citrus, sour cherries, apple, lactic notes, light barnyard and light leather with a hint of vinegar. Palte was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of carmel lactic acid, light apple, light sour cherry, light spice and a hint of leather with a crisp dry lingering tart funky finish. Aroma is heavy lactic, horse blanket, barnyard, grapes, and cherries. Flavor is lactic grapes and cherry sourness, light caramel malt, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation with low warmth.
