Poured a crystal clear golden amber with a one-finger bright white foamy head that diminished quickly to a blotchy cap that laced well. Carbonation high, lively and fine to medium. Aroma is pleasantly of semi-sweet citrus with hints of grapefruit and orange. Taste is tangerine up front with a bit of zest; citrus over-powers the IPA hops 'bite' as bitterness is low to moderate. Medium body. Smooth, crisp, refreshing and very tasty. RedSox2004 (1962) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - OCT 1, 2017
Clear bright reddish-orange with a two-finger off-white frothy head and thick lace. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine and grain. Tangerine zest with notes of grapefruit and lemon rind. Light body, lively carbonation, prickly mouthfeel and a crisp finish.

355 ml bottle bought at Q-Club in SoHo, Central.
Looks: Clear orange amber colour; Half finger head with soapy white foam which lasts for 1 minute; Excellent sticky lacing with active slight carbonation.
Aroma: Very fragrant Ale malt, with strong passion fruits, strong mangoes, tangerines, oranges, floral, sugar, spices, pine, light resins, biscuits, lemon and fresh grass. Not overwhelming but penetrating.
Taste: Medium sweet Ale malt, with tangerines, oranges, light grapefruits, light caramel, floral, fair sugar, spices, light pine, light resins, biscuits, lime, medium bitter hops and fresh grass.
Body: Close to medium body. Slick palate.
Mouth Feel: Good Ale maltymess in a slightly thinned but slick background. Tangerines and orangey hops dominates while grapefruits is in the shadow. Flowery with moderate sweetness, fairly spicy but light on piney ooziness. Biscuity with lime to round. Good!
Hoppiness: Passion fruits, strong mangoes, tangerines, oranges, floral, spices, pine, light resins, lemon and fresh grass in nose. Tangerines, oranges, light grapefruits, floral, spices, light pine and resins, lime and fresh grass in taste; Bitterness is fairly vibrant for a lasting, mid to high astringent bitter-sweet fruity malty finish.
After Taste: Quite dry. Orangey and fairly bitter to mouth.
Comments: This one's focus is on the orange-first hoppy aroma, which is not as strong but still impressive. Taste-wise the tangerine replaces the usual grapefruits for the mild but comfy limey hoppiness. I like this one, but with all the various hops involved, it can be more impressive than just a Summer wonder, right?
