3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The one that everyone associates with craft brew. Not bad either. Pours a nice golden hue with orange tints. Nose is a bit skunky with some biscuit and a slight orange hop finish. Taste is better, caramel, toast, sweet finish. Lively mouthfeel especially at first. Fairly light bodied and very drinkable. Malts do linger a bit on the finish.
Clearish orange, small off white head. Aroma yeast and caramel. Light body. Fairly dry for the most part. Flavor malt and a touch of yeast. Not bad. higgsbison (233) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 21, 2017
Very Dry, effervescent carbonation that really hits the tongue. definite Notes of raw dough. More sour than bitter. I let it warm up but found no improvement. Not bad but definitely not impressive. it would be OK to drink if nothing better is on tap, I certainly wouldn't buy a six pack of it
Second tasting I thought it was pretty good. Didn't think it was so dry. Didn't think it was so effervescent. Didn't notice the sourness. Went down easy and I wanted another one

reminds me of drinking beer 10 years ago. it's reasonable, but very ordinary. nothing special and not worth the price. tntracey (91) - Hood River, Oregon, USA - SEP 9, 2017
12 oz bottle poured into frosted pint glass. Nothing spectacular. Tastes a bit better when served from a tap. Tad disappointed to be honest. Still, it's a better beer than what most idiots out there are drinking right now! StoutBeerReviews (208) - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 8, 2017
Mild sweet lingering malts but somehow disconnected and watered down. Decent.

Bottle. Pours a clearish orange with a quickly fading off white bubbly head. Aroma is of biscuit, hint of orange. Taste is of biscuit, light citrus, grassy, slightly metallic. Watery to oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. bigtreehorse (4) - JAPAN - SEP 7, 2017 does not count

12floz can, BBD: 12.10.2017, I've had before on draft and bottle too many times (first from a can, and it's likely been 3-4 years since I last had a Fat Tire), paid $14 as part of mix twelve pack, poured this one into a pint glass. I can see through the amber body clearly. So I know it's filtered. The head is relatively small, but sloshes around while drinking. Buttery toasted bread is all I need to say about this beer's aroma and taste. The body is medium, and is a standard drinking beer suitable for a meal at restaurants such as Chili's or Applebees. It's harmless and fine. At one time I thought this was one of the greatest beer's ever. Way back when I only tried about six US crafts, three US macros, and two macro imports (Guinness and Heineken) . Oh how things have changed in the last 10-20 years. I recalled it once had a strong biscuity caramel character. Now I know some of it is still there, but today I'm less impressed. Still pretty decent. twindadplus2 (728) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 28, 2017
Clear, dark orange amber color with a small foamy head. Sweet, nutty, light pine aroma. Taste is doughy malt and light herbal bitterness. mouthfeel is a bit watery and on the low end of medium bodied with a quick piney finish. Not a bad beer at all.
