A nice and crisp fresh hop beer. Picked up a bomber bottle at Bi-Rite Market in San Diego, California...pours amber-orange with a small white head. Decent lacing. A light, piney, herbal hop aroma, with a hint of spicy banana ester. As you might expect, flavors are mostly grassy hops with a light bitterness and a slight, soda-like caramel sweetness. Medium bodied. Pretty drinkable and refreshing! BK7 (805) - Turner, Oregon, USA - JAN 20, 2014
Had this fresh from the tap in October a now again from a bomber probably past its prime. I recall the fresh brew was very hoppy and dank, a pretty good fresh hop IPA. The bottle is still not bad with pine, citrus and a touch of sweet caramel in the background. Finish is solid IPA bitterness. rader58 (926) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - JAN 12, 2014
22oz bottle. Pours clear light copper. Aroma of pine, citrus, touch of skunk. Flavor of caramel, pine, grass, touch of cherry juice. A fairly bitter IPA with meh aroma and okay flavor. Finhead (1814) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JAN 12, 2014
Clear gold with a rocky, white head. The aroma is a little earthy with some light pine and herbs. It has a light, watery body with soft carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with a mild finish. beertholomeus (1814) - California, USA - JAN 6, 2014
Pours a light golden amber with a white head. Hop, citrus, caramel, biscuit and malt aroma. Hop, grapefruit, biscuit, mango, orange, caramel, malt and floral flavors. Medium light body and moderate carbonation. Slightly sweet taste and a floral hop finish. Slightly underwhelming.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big grass, pine, hints of earth, slight orange peel, touch of grapefruit into biscuit, bread, slight spice. Taste is a mix of pine, grass, dank notes into orange, grapefruit, slight biscuit, bready notes into a mix of grain, finishing bitter. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 1, 2014
Pretty dank and skunky and skunky on the nose. Fat and a little hot in the mouth. Big mouthfeel, awkward sweetness, this is obviously not fresh at this point. Certainly a New Belgium yeast character to it. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 1, 2014
Bomber from Once Upon a Vine, opened 11/19/13. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of nutty malts and some caramel with earthy, herbal, green hops and a bit of citrus. The taste is earthy, green, vegetal hops, muted caramel malts. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering bitterness. Solid. b3shine (9143) - Indiana, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Bomber to pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent light golden orange with off-white head. Smells of fresh hops and pale malt. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A solid Fresh-hopped IPA. Butters (4176) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - DEC 26, 2013
Not as good as the others in the series from what I recall. Clear dull golden pour with good white head. Smells very green and fresh and wet. Flavor is similar, but has a skunky dankness that I don’t normally come across. Bitterness is there, but the hops more provide an oily, aromatic, flavorful addition, rather than just bitterness. Good for hopheads I’d imagine, but not the best ipa by any stretch.
