Bought at Liquor Shed, best by Feb 23, 2014.
A nice medium gold pour, 2 finger head of foam that leaves some lacing behind.
The smell is pretty hoppy..notes of pine & grapefruit with some grass thrown in for good measure. A light sweetness sits firmly in the background.
First sip in and I get that it isn’t quite as hoppy as the smell suggested. I get some citrus mixed with the grass and pine but they seem to bring more bitterness than actual hoppy flavours. The malt is a bit more apparent; notes of biscuit and hints of caramel.
The mouthfeel is good, nice medium body, sort of lightish on the carbonation.
There are no weird ingredients thrown in this brew but it still doesn’t hit my palate on all cylinders. It’s not bad though. kayres (888) - , Georgia, USA - NOV 20, 2013
Clear yellow with a thin white head. Light hoppy fresh green and floral. Medium bodied and very fresh

Bomber bought at Albertsons in Hayden, ID. Best before 2/23/14, so I’m guessing this is pretty fresh. Aroma is doughy, catty, piney, wheat cracker, grapefruit, floral. Pours clear copper-gold with a medium off-white head with great retention and lace. Taste is bittersweet with an emphasis on bitter; heavy bitterness lingers through the long finish. Crisp and refreshing. Medium body, highly carbonated. Nice fresh hop ale. nearbeer (5561) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 19, 2013
650 ml. Maybe a light haze on the burnt orange-golden body supporting a quarter inch of meringue on top. Olfactory perception is dank ash, lightly scorched grain, peppery resin, green herb and a hint of grapefruit. Flavor is resin, lightly scorched herbs and grain, peppery citrus pith. Light-medium body is way dry, has average but smooth carbonation and a long finish of charred cabbage. Another predictable, but drinkable and well-crafted American IPA using a "new hop strain" to blast your face off. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 19, 2013
Bomber. Poured clear lighter golden with a sticky whitish head.. set up nicely in the glass. The aroma picked up fresh lighter fruit and grassy hops over lightly honeyed malts. The flavor found kind of sharp black pepper and floral bitterness over light fruit meat and a kiss of honey.. finished spicy. Medium-bodied and a little too sharp on the palate.. just ok overall.

22oz bomber pours up with a clear copper body that has gold hues and supports a white head. The modest aroma offers up some sweet malts, a light citrus candy note and then slivers of spicy hops and earthy lime. The taste begins with nice citrus hop flavor and bitterness that’s backed up by a bit of smooth sweet malts. It then heads into some mango like tropical fruit notes as well as spicy hops to a dash of earthy hop notes here and there. Nice IPA although it lacks juiciness it does provide a bit of a dry finish. jeremytoni (3082) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - NOV 16, 2013
From a bottle poured an amber color with a small amount of head. Light bitter hoppy flavor with a quick finish. drpimento (3734) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 16, 2013
Good beer tho not quite an IPA to me. Fresh hops come thru in the nose and flavor, but not so aggressive. vey drinkable. ajnepple (6981) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 16, 2013
22 oz bottle shared last night. Gold with a white head. Fresh resinous hops, pine, medium bitterness, light citrus fruit. It was OK. stevoj (5438) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Nice try but merely average. Initial sharp hop bitterness, but kind of flat after that. Heady with sticky lacing light amber, piney nose. Flavor is bitter but fades fast. metallic and dry finish.
