Slightly hazy copper amber color. Hoppy asparagus smells. Smooth intro quickly turns bitter but stays in control. Lots of flavor but still ends balanced and rinses clean. dwyerpg (6494) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Another wonderful beer from New Belgium. This hop kitchen line is really excellent. Tons of hops, bitter and citrusy. Really tasty. Braudog (6900) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - NOV 21, 2013
Bottle. Nice seductive pour of bright amber, the head’s a little bit relenting, but is sticky as heck. This drinks with a nice viscous palate, the floral and semi-acidic hops are in the forefront, but there’s a nice firm malt backdrop, too. Exceptional west coast IPA. Bomber bought at Albertsons in Hayden, ID. Best before 2/23/14, so I’m guessing this is pretty fresh. Aroma is doughy, catty, piney, wheat cracker, grapefruit, floral. Pours clear copper-gold with a medium off-white head with great retention and lace. Taste is bittersweet with an emphasis on bitter; heavy bitterness lingers through the long finish. Crisp and refreshing. Medium body, highly carbonated. Nice fresh hop ale. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - DEC 22, 2013
The color of this beer is a clear tawny, and a large pillowy white head sits on top of the liquid. The strong aroma is pure hops--resin and floral scents to be specific, and the taste is mildly bitter, slightly swwet, and a touch sour; however, no one element overpowers the others, and it is overall really balanced and pleasant. The mouthfeel is also intriguing due to the soft carbonation, medium body, slick texture, and slightly bitter finish. Overall, this beer is better and more balanced than I was expecting.

Bomber. Pours a deep clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is of earthy, grassy hops. Flavor is of green grassy hops and light toasted malt. This is nice. No "sweet malt" backbone; this one is dry and moderately bitter. Doofgoblin (513) - Chevy Chase, Washington DC, USA - OCT 5, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2013 There is something really refreshing about this fresh hop IPA. The aroma is not over the top exciting, but the taste is very solid with lots of resiny, pine, grassy, dirty, faintly citrus, and juiciness. I especially like the finish that is somewhat smooth and faintly foamy in texture. A bit chewy...
