From 22oz bottle to dimpled mug. Pour is a nice good, thick foamy head. Nose is hoppy slight malt. Finishes average.

Yellow golden hazy pour. Fluffy bright white head. Aroma is very floral. Lemony. Flavor is bready malt. Hop profile is earthy and herbal. Great aroma. Weaker flavor.

Pours clear light yellow with large white head. Minimal floral aroma. Hop taste with a semi full body. Good session beer.

On draft at Postino East, Gilbert AZ; pitcher (2 pints) for $7.50. Nice lightness to this while also giving hops and fizzy mouth feel; some spice, though I didn’t get the rye in the brewer’s description. Quite enjoyable. johnbuck100 (306) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2013
22 oz bomber. This beer sat in my fridge for the longest time - as I thought it would be overly malty, not my favorite. IT turned out to be much better than I thought. Yes, it has a rather heavy bready roasty backbone, but a good dose of hops balance things out nicely. A very rich palate - a bit too rich for the middle of the summer - this would be a nice beer for early spring - when it was brewed - or late fall at a football game. The really special aspect of this beer is that the flavor is truly unique.

Tap - @ Jojo’s. Pours crystal clear yellow-amber with decent size white head, diminishing. Aromas of soap, yeasty, and orangey hops. Bit of bananas. Nice tastes of lively orange malts, bready hops, and citrus at the finish. Good long finish of bitter hops. Nice and drinkable. Very cool if the weather would turn. backdaft (288) - Menasha Red Light District, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a good 2 finger head that leaves some moderate lacing. Aroma is of light earthy hops. Flavor is bitter earthy hops, some sweet grain, some lemon. Medium bodied Very nice example. I cant wait to see what else is in the Hop Kitchen. Steverus0 (263) - Shreveport, Louisiana, USA - JUN 16, 2013
There are some great hops finely matched in this delicious lager.
Clearly a homerun, this brew is subtle and sufficiently bitter. Blends great with mustard roasted potatoes and chicken

The aroma is of wheat and dry hops. The hops, as I sip the beer, take on a character of grass and some citrus. The taste is very balanced between sourness and biterness. The palate is mostly strong, albeit with an unimpressive finish. That said, quite a good beer. (Note: after drinking, I checked and saw that this bottle was a bit past the due date... and it’s still quite good, so that says something. Now I just need to try it fresh!)
