Bomber. Dark reddish-orange color with a white head. Aroma is grassy, a tiny bit floral. Taste is citrus pith and slightly floral hops and a fairly serious sweet malt taking over. The palate is very light, a bit too watery for my preference. This is a good beer, but it feels like itís missing something - a bit empty in the palate and/or the transition from hops bitterness to sweet malt needs something in between thatís not there. Nice to see Odell and NB collaborate. Iíve always wondered why the quality craft breweries in that area (and there seem to be plenty!) donít offer more collaborations. Us beer geeks would go crazy over them.
October 17th, 2014 - Two of my favorite hometown heroes came together to make this Fort Collins brew, a true local treat that reminds me that my current town of San Diego isnít the gold standard for beer flavors across the continental United Sttaes. With a deep amber body it looks like it might lean towards a Fat Tire-esque flavor profile. The heavy webbing on the head suggests the same, but the aroma is appreciably hoppy. Alongside the hops are lemon and lime, with a little grapefruit. The flavor rounds up the same citrus crew, floating idly on a soft palate and light body. The sweetness appears in the mid-taste once the carbonation begins to buckle, and gets just a touch too sugary for my tastes, but it is a distinctly different flavor profile from San Diego stuff - a reminder I needed after living in this bubble for more than a few years now. hayduke (5188) - Eureka, California, USA - MAR 19, 2016
From a 22 oz bottle. Poured gold amber with a white head. Nose of citrus and fruit. Medium body. Flavor is big on citrus and the finish is lightly bitter. Really easy drinking and delicious.

Tap at SIdedoor. Deepish amber-brown body. Steady thick beige head. The citra gives it a touch of the new, but otherwise this is a straightforward IPA of ten years back. Thick malt tones, some brown ale-like caramel, nutty tendencies. Pleasant NW hops, but overall a little uninspired. OK. Touch of amber malt? BeerRenter76 (1007) - Texas, USA - JUL 13, 2015
Originally rated on 6/23/14. Pours a transparent copper with a fluffy white head that leaves nice lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of orange, grapefruit, lemon and lime zest in the mix as well. Some bread and caramel malts are there too. The flavors match the nose, orange peel, earthy, pine and grapefruit. The lemon and lime come out as well. Caramel malts are there, but donít seem to dominate. This has a clean finish. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeeel is the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. This is a solid collaboration. It borderlines being an IPA, but a good beer overall. mrjaxson (575) - .08 Junction, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 20, 2015
Super combination of multiple hops to fire up a combo citrus-pine tree aroma, then hearty barley malts (I think) to get a hearty bread scent and bread taste. It didnít matter than the "enjoy by" date had long passed on this bomber, this was still delicious and a super find in the Discount Liquor (Milwaukee) bargain basket.

Poured a clear amber color with a white head. Nice hoppy aroma with pine and citrus. Some sweet malts too. Taste is not as bitter as I expected, smooth and creamy. Malty and a bit sweet. Overall not bad, very refreshing. WABeerFiend (413) - - JAN 16, 2015
Best by date of 08.31.14.
Poured from a bomber into a beer can glass on 06.23.14.
A: 2 finger head that stays. See through orange/amber body.
S: Strong red grapefruit. Maybe hop resin too.
T: Follows the nose.
O: This seems to try to be a West Coast APA, but it falls short. Itís good, but there are better examples of the style. It does have a nice lingering bitterness with a sweet grapefruit flavor. Oldschool_Mike (368) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 8, 2015
Bottle into IPA glass. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour. Aroma is fruity citrusy hops. Taste is fruity hops with a little maltiness. Awesome beer. Emeister84 (2479) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - DEC 6, 2014
Aromas of toast, subtle caramel, earthy hops, subtle berry fruit. Clear brown, decently lasting off-white head. Initially a little fruity, bready. Medium bodied. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - NOV 30, 2014
Bomber poured into a shaker. From older notes. Earthy and citrus hops, grains, toffee.
