On tap at Samuel Horne’s, Folsom. Pours murky golden with no head and a sour apricot-like aroma. There is an exquisite sour fruit flavor that leaves a pucker on the palate. Very tasty. theisti (4176) - Kansas, USA - FEB 21, 2012
16 oz New Belgium goblet draft at Julian in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a hazed ruby brown copper with a smallish light tan head. The aroma is a really nice, soft blend of acetic vinegar, oak wood and an orange citrus brightness. Softly sour, pleasantly fruity, great nose. The taste is the citrus orange lemon up front, paired soon after with the lemon acetic sour, a nice cherry fruit tartness, the oak and a small amount of vanilla. The taste is nicely melded together, showing the fruit and acetic qualities in even measure. The palate is medium bodied, bright active carbonation, and a nice lingering cherry flavor. Very easy to drink. Overall, really cool that Celina Tio was able to create and serve this beer. Here’s to more!
