3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured a clear dark brown with an average sized light brown fizzy head that was gone before I took the first sip and had virtually no lacing to speak of. The aroma was kind of sweet with roasted cookie malts and a sweet yeast with notes of brown sugar, some dark dried fruit and a hint of sour apples. It tasted very lightly sweet and malty with a nice dried fruit note at first then WOW did it get sour real quick with a strong does of sour apple at the end. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and very dry in texture with a very lively carbonation. Overall as sour beers go this one is right up there. Very sour and very tasty. If you like sour beers this one is definitely worth a try...

2013 Bottle shared at epic Cantillon tasting. Aroma: brett, caramel, brown sugar, slightly oxidated. App: brown, reddish, minimal beige brown head, leaving great lacing especially for a 2013 bottle. Taste and palate: medium body, light sweetness, moderate high acidity and dry finish. Overall: good stuff. A bit too much acidity for me but it's well made. Good stuff. sebastokrator (127) - - JUL 10, 2017
,Pours a dark brown with some nice beige head. The nose is sour apple, oak, cherry, and a hint of vinegar. Taste is a nice sour apple and hint of cherry. The oak barely comes through. The finish is quite fruity. Light to medium bodied, with light carbonation. This is just a good solid sour. Padedze (49) - - JUN 25, 2017

From bottle in Belgian ale glass. Pours murky maroon/amber with frothy head that fades quickly. Tart cherry from beginning to end with nice woody undertones from the oak.

Magic sour cherry happy juice! 🍒
Has a fruity and almost syrupy aroma, with a dark red appearance and smooth palate. The taste is sharp and tangy in the cheeks, with a nice, fruity finish. One of the very best sours I’ve ever had- not too light on the sour, but doesn’t ignore the fruit either. Good for hoarding to yourself when you’re supposed to share it with your boo boo at the arcade that just got pinball machines, and/or reminiscing the day after while digesting spicy wings. pivo (2685) - GERMANY - MAY 6, 2017
