Strong orange citrus aroma and pours golden blonde with a thin white head. A quality Belgian ale with a crisp citrusy finish. A very refreshing and citrusy take on a Belgian biere de garde.

Alright, shenanigans. This was supposed to be done with sour cherries as I recall - where’d these orange peels come from....
Pours a nice golden yellow with a solid sheet of whites - these falls away quickly leaving a central dome. Smells include an up front slap of orange peel, some seeds of paradise character, some dried apricots, belgian yeast and a bit of grain. Taste is rich, sweet and slightly citric. The juice comes thru, but seems just juicy and sweet, not tart or sharp as I like my citric juices. The grain is also more malty than I would have predicted, some bits of apricot here as well. Medium on chubby body with lighter carb. This beer is okay, glad it’s a one and done though.

Bomber in a trade with wchesser. This pours a fairly deep golden hue and is mostly clear. Lots of visible carbonation. A light but nice aroma of soft fruit and malts. A thick white layer of foam stays. First sip is tropical and passion fruit and it is fairly pronounced. Pale malts that are right for a biere de garde. The yeast is also right and brings just a bit of farmhouse funk. A little orange is tasted. A pleasant beer.
