Pour from a bottle at the brewery. Pours a bright, semi-cloudy gold that is deeper orange at the wider part of the glass and has a small white head. Notes of sweet and bready malts, melon, dried papaya, dry dough, and some farmhouse funk. Medium-bodied, with a sweet, dry, bready mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice BDG. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - AUG 28, 2013
Poured a slightly hazy yellow with a fluffy head. Nose is faint. Tastes of musk and farmhouse. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 24, 2013
On tap @ Malibu Sundowner. Clear golden pour with a white head. Floral, earthy, and spicy notes on the nose. Some sweet malt, soap, yeast, and a hint of lemon peel. Flavors of soap, floral hops, and some spices. Sweet malt, light lemon, and grass. Maybe a bit of lemon. Malty_MacHops (688) - Eastanollee, Georgia, USA - AUG 21, 2013
Nice spice and citrus tones with bready notes. Slightly hazy golden. Semi-sweet with good spice flavor and a lot of yeast notes. Balanced with a dry spicy finish. Bediddleby (13) - - AUG 12, 2013
From bottle. Delicious, dry farmhouse with a little spice and subtle tartness.

Bottle:   Orangish straw, pale haze, moderate frothy white head, little lacing.   Non-descript floral nose, a little honeydew melon perhaps.   Soft, musty, and warming like yeasty breadiness.   Has a soft floral
aspect that is lighter than the nose suggested.   Not as musty or barnish as others, but with more punch and muted spicy bits.   Hard to believe this is actually 9%!   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.
Yeasty/doughy/bready finish, but not too heavy or musty.   Comes across as way lighter than the 9% implies.   A bit too easy to drink.   Enjoyed it more than those from France! dfearnley (2316) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 8, 2013

Aroma of plum, honey, wine, dough, and straw. It's a light yellow with many tiny particulates and a nice white creamy head. Taste is wheat and plum, a touch sour and yeasty. It's light bodied and a little gritty. poisoneddwarf (2646) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Rating from last night. Bomber pours hazy cantaloupe with a medium white head with decent retention. Aroma is citrusy, doughy, spices and herbs. Taste is candy sweet but not cloying, slightly savory, faintly tart, a little dry. A bit of a cheesy flavor. Has a nice flavor if it’s not very true to style. Tasty. I’ve been passing this one up for months now because I kind of lost interest in this style of beer. I’m glad I finally decided to pick one up. mrhoppy (1196) - Santa Clara, California, USA - AUG 2, 2013
Pours clear straw gold with a small creamy white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing. Aroma is musty stinky, almost rotting, oranges with a little bready malt. Flavor is sweet oranges and musty yeast with a kind of dry and lightly bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, kind of odd - sweet musty oranges with a dry bitter, kind of off finish. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 23, 2013
22oz bottle, shared with DanielCoor. Got this from a trade with adnielsen, I’m pretty sure -- thanks Aaron! Sticker on the bottle reads 10/26/12. Very lemony, citrusy aroma in the nose. Light herbs. Clear yellow orange color. Few particles suspended in the body. Thin white head. Pretty nice spread of lace. Bigger body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Love the lemony, citrusy, orange peel flavors. Light spice. Very zesty flavor, moderate sweet. Good fruit beer (that’s how I see this). I liked it a lot. Definitely out there for a biere de grade, way stronger and fruitier than typical, but I enjoyed it
