4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2013 22oz bottle. The bottle says it all! Ale with a hint of orange. Well, yep. Aroma and taste are the same. Had a medium head that dissipated quickly. Hardly any meaningful lacing. Go ahead and detect the minutiae of this beer. I swear to god I read a review on here where the kid said he smelled cobwebs. This is a beer with a solid aroma of orange zest, malts, and cilantro. It also has a hint of caramel and an overall sweet bite. Finish is a bit too caramel. For the price, and for the presentation of "New Belgium + Viviant", I kinda expected more. A very good beer, please don?t get me wrong. I?ll honestly give it high marks and I think it?s very solid and drinkable. 9% alcohol.
Pours a hazy golden color. Aromas of sweet malt. Flavor of sweet malt(honey), alcohol tastes bigger than9%. Dry finish and aftertaste. djd07 (15067) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 11, 2015
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong floral and honey. Thin mouth with sweet fruit, honey, yeast, light tartness, very good. Sudsmcduff is awesome! jbruner (4793) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - FEB 6, 2015
Bottle pours a slightly hazy golden orange with thin off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of didst and sweet malt, taste files wroth hints of fruity booze. Meh, nothing too exciting but not bad. pras (602) - Maryland, USA - DEC 14, 2014
Poured pail yellow. Aroma of lemony citrus. Taste was crisp and fresh (after being aged for 2 years). Very enjoyable. Couldn’t tell its high alcohol content. slowrunner77 (12139) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 22, 2014
"I’d had a small sample on tap a few weeks back and enjoyed it. Enjoyed the bomber to myself even more. Love the use of orange peel in this zesty, unique brew. 9% doesn’t show, at all. Belgian spices, chamomile and fruit. Solid all around."

I had this at Global Brew. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Taste citrus, sweet, spice. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

@ Whitey’s Wine and Liquor / Lawrenceburg IN --- Slightly hazy medium amber, white head that drops to a full contoured cover, bands and streaks of lace. Taste opens with malt that doesn’t grow til it moves to the back of the tongue, where it adds sweet citrus and yeast before adding a light hoppiness to bring things back into line. A solid brew that is so easy to drink, one must be aware of the alcohol, which never shows it’s face. Recommended. maddmatt639 (331) - Pacifica, California, USA - APR 15, 2014
No retention and light lacing. Smells of orange peel, yeast and apricots. Tastes of apricots, peaches and dry citrus. Dry, fruity finish.

Golden-amber, spicy a bit sweet and a dash of bubblegum but the alcohol is fairly strong.
